It seems that most fighting styles already have Aikido integrated into them! So as long as you are flexible then any style will do.

You guys are built like tanks! In my case, I'm just going to flee from a fight :)

Seagal used this technique many times in his movies, especially in Glimmer Man. In that year, before movie,he was trained with his bodyguard and friend sifu Randy Williams, who is big capacity in wing chun world

"Prepare to get hit". Yes, because it will happen no matter what especially when you face two against you.

It’s all about your own state of self awareness.. & that’s when mushin no mind 🎏🇯🇵 comes into play .. being aware of what’s going on around you … Reality resolve and if it happens you take action. That’s my philosophy

I've always wondered what's best re: Teeth, since I don't have a Mouth Guard 24/7:
    Clenched, Open, lightly Closed?

Not knowing much about Wing Chun, that looks a bit like Wing Chun to me.

Consider the potential scenarios related to self-defense that might arise unexpectedly in your daily routine. Wargame how would you respond if such situations were to occur? Mindprep and envision to be mentally sharp in unexpected future chaos.

Do not punch with small knuckles of your fist. Unless you want to break them. Keep your hands up and your head moving. Most blocks will not work in a real combat situation.

Thanks but the video was a little too short, see, even the flies came to hang out, but as far as fighting I am sticking to the first piece of advice. I am running away anytime I spot crazy

You also want to get yourself familiar with the criminal justice system if you plan on getting into street fights to test your skill.

It's ok, but maybe you forgot the left/second hand of your Opponent? 🤔

I agree, in this case you’ll have to be extremely fast to be able to do those two movements before punching. Also, coming from a boxing perspective that once I disrupt that first hand I’ll immediately turn my knuckles over and instead of landing 1 punch I’ll land a second one.

It appears your right strike should block there left.

The best self defense tip I ever heard was from Michael Jai White.
If fight is unavoidable then the first thing to do is make a mental switch. You need to basically snap on a person as they already have with you before you can worry about techniques.

I think no matter how Aikido evolves (through different masters), even if it helps, there will always be deniers and haters of Aikido. We acknowledge that and move forward. Don't need haters to hijack every Aikido related video. Please save it for exclusive Aikido hate videos, not here.

Tip number 1: Aikido is a bunch of poppy-cock, don't bother with it.
Tip number 2: Don't get into street fights.

Why bother watching the video if you feel it is BS. Let someone who likes it watch in peace without scrolling through the same $**t in the comments section. The actual people who want to know more or get more insights from comments don't want to see this in each and every video.
