Hey Brianne! love the videos. On the emotional support alligator story, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Pirates are both baseball teams, so the person with the alligator was denied entrance into a baseball game, but was able to get into a Philadelphia Flyers game (ice hockey) and meet their mascot (Gritty). Hope that helps :)

I just discovered you and really enjoy your videos. Correct! These are all American. Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburg Pirates are American Major League Baseball Teams (sort of like cricket but more boring). They have had a popular green furry mascot creature for many years called the Philly Phanatic. The Flyers are a National Hockey League team in Philadelphia. Several years ago the team held a competition for a mascot. One of the entries was an orange furry character with googly eyes that was kind of poking fun at the Phillies mascot. Initially rejected, he instantly became a fan favorite and was elected the team mascot. He has been going strong ever since.

Flyers, as in, Philadelphia Flyers is their city's professional hockey team. "Gritty" is the Flyers' mascot. My apologies for not being able to provide more information on what "Gritty" is.
