City of Bryan: Western Star Heil CP Python Garbage Truck

The city of Bryan has one of the more unique fleets in Texas, particularly for their conventional cab Heil Liberty’s, mounted on both Western Star and Freightliner SD chassis. During our time in the College Station area, we made sure to get some video of Bryan’s operation. I have always loved the CP Python design and seeing it paired with a Western Star makes this a pretty sick truck in my opinion. Bryan has a pretty neat cart variety, especially since they have a ton of old Reuters still in use. Unfortunately this was all the footage I could get, as the driver ended up calling his supervisor to tell us off. The driver was a little on edge when we first asked to film but he did give us permission. It was a pretty big letdown since we were not in the driver’s way and the supervisor would not give us a reason why we couldn’t film. It wasn’t worth any confrontation so we just decided to leave. I’m glad I was able to get a little bit of video though and I hope guys enjoy what I managed to grab!
