Yep, just today there was this WA that kept attacking me randomly. At one point I was at the bridge, and the guy had sc, and I had mr hamon. The guy attacked me 3 times simultaneously, and lost those 3 consecutive times, after which he got a different spawn, and ran to me when I was at about 20 hp, and I STILL managed to hootfoot it outta there while using my "perfectly balanced move at regular intervals when it was off cooldown", and the guy started complaining, and I'm like ' Bro, you just lost to me 4 times, there's something wrong with you'. (Btw I didn't have enough time to pose)
im amazing with that technique, i once got away from a mad cream user with no stand or fighting style, came back later and beat the shit outta him with Mr. President, he proceeded to follow me the rest of my time on that server, my friends caught his ass lacking tho
I dominated that technique, i was in a sbr spinning around the map for a entire 5 minutes while a team of 7 wipers were chasing me, then the zone came out and i made them die

Silver Chariot - called a spammer for not wasting a single move, even using last shot during million pricks. GER+Hamon - called a tryhard for using the GER+Hamon combo even if I lose the battle. KQ:BTD - called a spammer or runner for mainly staying away from their direct punching range and using bombs, also called spammer for using BTD, even if I use it twice in battle because they do the same thing as me and stays alive. C-Moon - called a spammer for using mainly the counter or the UCttM+Grav punch attack. This game is hopeless when it comes to trying to stop people from being toxic, I've just learned to ignore it.
My mains: Sptw+Hamon - Called a spammer for breaking block and hitting a brutal true combo into beatdown Ta4 - Called a spammer for using nails when they are my main form of attack and the enemy is projectile camping The Hand+Hamon - Insulted for using a busted stand with a 136 damage 2 button combo. Honestly thats fair.
My mains : Magiacian's Red - i got reported and BANNED for "exploiting when all i did was bakugo a mih when he tried to universe reset and he thought i stopped it when it actully was just his universe reset failing
Idk, I think running is, well... You and this guy get in a fight and you've been practicing. Wanting to win, you try very hard and whittle them down to low health. Then they just run away. You tried so hard, practiced so hard, but someone running away from the fight completely and not as a dodging maneuver ruins the fight. It is just a stalemate because they don't believe someone can actually practice. If you use it to gain space, that's fine. But just completely abandoning the fight, ruins the purpose of training.

I was playing with some freinds and one of them (who was lvl 10) punched my other friend to test damage but the friend thought he was trying to kill him so he killed the new friend he got angry that we said that wasn’t good he pissed so I just killed him a bunch
I used to complain to people about all of these things, i didnt realize how moronic i sounded. i complained about people beng toxic, but being toxic back is just making them keep being toxic. they want a reaction out of you, and you should just shut up and let them run their mouth. this video helped me change my toxic mindset.

After reading this, I’m going to actually stop trying to be more toxic. I always get mad when somebody says “ez” or “skill issue” on me when I die. But the more that I realize it, I do the same thing. This video taught me a lot. So thanks.
6:33 Firstly, I wanna state that I can feel you rolling your eyes after seeing that timestamp, and believe me, I don't blame you. This video really did need to be made, and I like that you had the confidence to put it out. Although, I do feel like there are a few points to make here. I feel like there's a difference between "running" and "recovering", and part of the issue is that people either don't know the difference or they choose to not know the difference just to vent their anger. Recovering in battle, to me, means getting out of the line of fire to recover your HP by using a healing move, posing, or having a teammate heal you. I feel like that's the most logical solution to the "Oh crap, this is really not going well," dilemma. However, running is the complete opposite. Running is completely avoiding combat to make the fight annoying for your opponent, or to try and defend their pride by not losing to you. The two people who do this are the roblox trolls, and the hotheaded tryhards. I'd like to quickly detail a situation I've been in with a friend. My friend was fighting one of those hotheaded tryhards who kept coming back to fight him in the Main Game because he beat him once (and later 7 times to 2). Eventually, we were fighting near the Thugs, and he repeatedly ran to Jotaro to escape to the Heaven Dimension out of our reach and to talk down to us and send his death threats in peace. Now, I pose the question: is this running? The answer is... well, yes. He ran from my friend in the middle of combat to completely disengage and keep himself safe. That's running, and that's one of the more underhanded ways to do it. That's why most people use running as an insult, because they think it's cowardice, and it is most of the time, but like I said, people can't tell when it's running and recovering.

As a person with an anger management problem it's hard not to at least punch my table once while playing Yba. Let alone the fact that I'm apart of Stardust so I can't spam ez back to make myself feel better. Just do what I do and disable the chat feature in the settings if you really want to not be toxic and have a short temper like me. It helps a lot.
This honestly inspired me to have a better mindset when encountering toxic people, before this video whenever I encountered someone toxic I would just get mad and respond to them in a toxic way, but now I realised how hypocritical it was, thank you for this, I really appreciate it.

He just makes fight WAY more longer than it should be and thinks he didnt lose just becouse his health didnt reach zero. I feel like you made a lot of good points here, when youre trying to play fighting games competitively you forget that you can never be the best so you get aggravated and always want to be better than everyone else but theres always gonna be someone better than you so it makes you angery when you lose to them. But at the end of the day being good at the game isnt important. The goal if the game is to have fun fighting other ppl

Another thing I've seen like this is when people kill you, then say "GG" When you're running away, or not even trying to fight back. They also seem to do this when you run away, even when you're minding your business and they just appear.
I remember being so afraid to use TS as that usually turns the whole server on me, but nowadays I be like "hey if you have a problem step up, I can do this all day"

I watch and listen to this video over and over again. This video is like a balm for the soul. You have no idea how much I fear PVP in games. I don't hate PVP in games because... If there is no "turn off PVP" option or PVP is not available, it is inevitable. It affects my mental health. As soon as I start PVP with someone, I automatically lose. In all meanings. I visited YBA for the first time since 2020, and abandoned it alone for a very simple reason: after trying all the stands, I wanted try playing TWOH. And I immediately began to ask my friends to help me, as soon as I saw that to get TWOH, I... need... to do... ranked PVP. Add toxic players here, and... no one wanted to help me. No. One. And called me a "skill issue" due to inability to complete a quest. I'm faster get a heart attack than complete this piece of quest, and looking at the things now, i think its not worth it. At all. Now, if I go to YBA, it is only to laugh at the children who continue to act in this misunderstanding of excuses. From Russian children, because mostly I meet them. From self-proclaimed champions, etc. I remember how one guy got rked simply for saying in the chat that it was difficult to kill Dio OH and get a bone. It's complicated. I didn’t do this myself, but I helped a friend who was trying to get a skin on MIH. I have never written “ez” in the chat, and that makes it even more painful to realize that this is my life. I agree but, the only problem is when a player runs even if you haven’t hit them. I killed a cream the other day and we started fighting near PT3 jotaro. I ended up killing him near diavolo.
I use the hand + hamon and I never rk people. I helped out my friend who had a problem with a mini boss, I never judge, not everyone is going to be a prodigy at pve or pvp. Sometimes people just need a little bit of help. :)
Remember: what eclipse said about spamming doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Spamming doesn’t mean using a move when it’s off cooldown, spamming means that you only use one move and completely avoid using any other moves except the one they’re spamming, it means the moment you use the move and the moment it’s on cooldown you disengage and stall for the cooldown while doing nothing else.

Usually people say “runner/running” when someone is going out of their way to get away from you, essentially forfeiting the match, and not when you’re just putting some distance to pose up a bit. Thats just from my experiences though

What triggers me is when they say "Spammer" or "Runner" because thats the whole point of the play style for the stand you are using, also I use Ta4 and KC so yes those are runners but regardless it's pointless saying those things lol.
I am quite new to YBA and I wanted to improve on my skill and let's just say that I am a very VERY positive person and a somewhat "kind" person, and even in the 1v1s server, I tend to always tell my enemy things like "I'm sorry I'm so bad and is dragging this fight." and so far I have not seen a single person say anything bad towards me after I said things like that, and I think doing things like that and admitting your "weaknesses" in a positive way is perfect to be the anti toxicity type of person Edit: I also ask people "how did you do it? can you tell me how to do so?" against mirror matches so I can literally learn how to use the stand rather than getting frustrated and spamming ez on the chat after losing.

I think running is tolerable in perma death games like rouge lineage. Its essential to stay alive so running is your only option when you are fighting a higher level player. And still people in rouge lineage are toxic about this.

Hey, me and a friend are making a game based on sbr. The main point of the game is winning sbr to get special items or fighting against specific bosses. Another thing is that EVERY STAND has a shiny and most stands can ve evolved si that there is long variety of stands. I’d like to ask if you could give me any tip or piece of advice in order to make our game better
Cool description, gonna be fun and i will completely play it, btw i got a tip,dont make it mega farmy and put the spawn rates at a decent time, like rokas and arrows 1 min 1/3 chance, the rare items (diary, evolution items) like 10 min 1/10 chance, and try to add more gamemodes, like ffa, team battle, 1v1s. Btw what will it gonma be called? Edit: dont add item noti or any P2W gamepass, gonna make the game way worse, if u want add emotes, donations or vip servers that got.same spawns as.in a public
If you wish to get people to tell you how to make your game better you should prob share what the name is so that people can test it out, if it isn't in a playable state yet, focus on that. Since the only things you should be concentrated about is the map looks, the coding and stuff for the stands, SBR and boss's (id say stands first, SBR second, boss's last since the stands is the main feature of your game then) once everything is in a functioning state and the game is playable (aka you got some stands, a way to obtain them and a way to rid them) and let people test them. Then you should start adding the features you want for your game, more stands and SBR and stuff, maybe a level system. Maybe you want the devils palm to give stands like in part 7? There are many many ways but before you can make a game better you'll have to have the game ready in a playable state. In case you od have the game ready to be tested feel free to share it and people will test it and tell you their experiences. Goodluck!

Like many other people i hate p2w games so everything will be free, this game is to have fun and play with friends whenever you want, though so that prívate servers aren’t too op u’ll need at least 4 people to play so people don’t spend the whole day in their private. @@imnobody4416 yes, every stand on the game is thought to be the most accurate to the series so each stand will have a precise way to evolve itself. Our idea is that we have every stand playable before we have the game public, we want our players to have the best experience from the beggining and as we don’t have much stands left to script we’ll wait until we have all stands ready to play for free so that people can see the stands’ moves and when the game is fully done you can already decide if getting a stand or not is worth it or not. Thanks for your advice.
I feel so stupid and dumb. In my head I always think do these people realise their own actions? In any sort of situation where the person retaliates in the same way. But I felt so stupid when I, myself realised I was always retaliating in the same way to toxic people. Meaning it made me a massive hypocrite. Besides this stupid moment, I would still consider myself having actual brain cells.

Idk, I think running is, well... You and this guy get in a fight and you've been practicing. Wanting to win, you try very hard and whittle them down to low health. Then they just run away. You tried so hard, practiced so hard, but someone running away from the fight completely and not as a dodging maneuver ruins the fight. It is just a stalemate because they don't believe someone can actually practice. If you use it to gain space, that's fine. But just completely abandoning the fight, ruins the purpose of training.

6:33 Firstly, I wanna state that I can feel you rolling your eyes after seeing that timestamp, and believe me, I don't blame you. This video really did need to be made, and I like that you had the confidence to put it out. Although, I do feel like there are a few points to make here. I feel like there's a difference between "running" and "recovering", and part of the issue is that people either don't know the difference or they choose to not know the difference just to vent their anger. Recovering in battle, to me, means getting out of the line of fire to recover your HP by using a healing move, posing, or having a teammate heal you. I feel like that's the most logical solution to the "Oh crap, this is really not going well," dilemma. However, running is the complete opposite. Running is completely avoiding combat to make the fight annoying for your opponent, or to try and defend their pride by not losing to you. The two people who do this are the roblox trolls, and the hotheaded tryhards. I'd like to quickly detail a situation I've been in with a friend. My friend was fighting one of those hotheaded tryhards who kept coming back to fight him in the Main Game because he beat him once (and later 7 times to 2). Eventually, we were fighting near the Thugs, and he repeatedly ran to Jotaro to escape to the Heaven Dimension out of our reach and to talk down to us and send his death threats in peace. Now, I pose the question: is this running? The answer is... well, yes. He ran from my friend in the middle of combat to completely disengage and keep himself safe. That's running, and that's one of the more underhanded ways to do it. That's why most people use running as an insult, because they think it's cowardice, and it is most of the time, but like I said, people can't tell when it's running and recovering.

As a person with an anger management problem it's hard not to at least punch my table once while playing Yba. Let alone the fact that I'm apart of Stardust so I can't spam ez back to make myself feel better. Just do what I do and disable the chat feature in the settings if you really want to not be toxic and have a short temper like me. It helps a lot.

I watch and listen to this video over and over again. This video is like a balm for the soul. You have no idea how much I fear PVP in games. I don't hate PVP in games because... If there is no "turn off PVP" option or PVP is not available, it is inevitable. It affects my mental health. As soon as I start PVP with someone, I automatically lose. In all meanings. I visited YBA for the first time since 2020, and abandoned it alone for a very simple reason: after trying all the stands, I wanted try playing TWOH. And I immediately began to ask my friends to help me, as soon as I saw that to get TWOH, I... need... to do... ranked PVP. Add toxic players here, and... no one wanted to help me. No. One. And called me a "skill issue" due to inability to complete a quest. I'm faster get a heart attack than complete this piece of quest, and looking at the things now, i think its not worth it. At all.
Now, if I go to YBA, it is only to laugh at the children who continue to act in this misunderstanding of excuses. From Russian children, because mostly I meet them. From self-proclaimed champions, etc. I remember how one guy got rked simply for saying in the chat that it was difficult to kill Dio OH and get a bone. It's complicated. I didn’t do this myself, but I helped a friend who was trying to get a skin on MIH.

i just got twoh and i am pretty bad at using it , and a cd guy who is pres 2 comes out of nowhere and kills me spams ez, i was super bummed out and searched videos on yba's toxicity , then i came across this video and realised how wrong i as a player was doing things , like being toxic to people who were toxic to me or being toxic to people who killed me , stuff like that . I realized that it isnt much of a thing to be concerned about after watching this video , Thank you eclipse you made my day !
What triggers me is when they say "Spammer" or "Runner" because thats the whole point of the play style for the stand you are using, also I use Ta4 and KC so yes those are runners but regardless it's pointless saying those things lol.
It's just an excuse, nothing more and nothing less

I am quite new to YBA and I wanted to improve on my skill and let's just say that I am a very VERY positive person and a somewhat "kind" person, and even in the 1v1s server, I tend to always tell my enemy things like "I'm sorry I'm so bad and is dragging this fight." and so far I have not seen a single person say anything bad towards me after I said things like that, and I think doing things like that and admitting your "weaknesses" in a positive way is perfect to be the anti toxicity type of person
Edit: I also ask people "how did you do it? can you tell me how to do so?" against mirror matches so I can literally learn how to use the stand rather than getting frustrated and spamming ez on the chat after losing.
The only toxic thing that I really do out of these things is skill issue when people complain about what character or whatever I am using.
Well if they cant beat your twoh with beach boi, does that mean they have skill issue or fight is unfair?

@@irregular_banana If you’re going to complain about unbalanced mechanics then play a different game, yba isn’t for you. Go play a balanced jojo game like troublesome battlegrounds 2 or something. There the things are balanced, the only unbalanced thing is fighting a character that counters yours.

I think running is tolerable in perma death games like rouge lineage. Its essential to stay alive so running is your only option when you are fighting a higher level player. And still people in rouge lineage are toxic about this.

Hey, me and a friend are making a game based on sbr. The main point of the game is winning sbr to get special items or fighting against specific bosses. Another thing is that EVERY STAND has a shiny and most stands can ve evolved si that there is long variety of stands. I’d like to ask if you could give me any tip or piece of advice in order to make our game better
Cool description, gonna be fun and i will completely play it, btw i got a tip,dont make it mega farmy and put the spawn rates at a decent time, like rokas and arrows 1 min 1/3 chance, the rare items (diary, evolution items) like 10 min 1/10 chance, and try to add more gamemodes, like ffa, team battle, 1v1s.

Edit: dont add item noti or any P2W gamepass, gonna make the game way worse, if u want add emotes, donations or vip servers that got.same spawns as.in a public
If you wish to get people to tell you how to make your game better you should prob share what the name is so that people can test it out, if it isn't in a playable state yet, focus on that. Since the only things you should be concentrated about is the map looks, the coding and stuff for the stands, SBR and boss's (id say stands first, SBR second, boss's last since the stands is the main feature of your game then) once everything is in a functioning state and the game is playable (aka you got some stands, a way to obtain them and a way to rid them) and let people test them. Then you should start adding the features you want for your game, more stands and SBR and stuff, maybe a level system. Maybe you want the devils palm to give stands like in part 7? There are many many ways but before you can make a game better you'll have to have the game ready in a playable state. In case you od have the game ready to be tested feel free to share it and people will test it and tell you their experiences. Goodluck!

@@tehtroll1737 We’ve already planned that and we’ll have a store were both rokas and arrow a can be bought at a reasonable price. Like many other people i hate p2w games so everything will be free, this game is to have fun and play with friends whenever you want, though so that prívate servers aren’t too op u’ll need at least 4 people to play so people don’t spend the whole day in their private. @@imnobody4416 yes, every stand on the game is thought to be the most accurate to the series so each stand will have a precise way to evolve itself. Our idea is that we have every stand playable before we have the game public, we want our players to have the best experience from the beggining and as we don’t have much stands left to script we’ll wait until we have all stands ready to play for free so that people can see the stands’ moves and when the game is fully done you can already decide if getting a stand or not is worth it or not. Thanks for your advice.
I feel so stupid and dumb. In my head I always think do these people realise their own actions? In any sort of situation where the person retaliates in the same way. But I felt so stupid when I, myself realised I was always retaliating in the same way to toxic people. Meaning it made me a massive hypocrite.
