Pushing on game 2 just seems the right thing to do. Not saying the NBA is rigged or anything, but the home team always gets the benefit of the doubt from the refs after losing game 1. There's a reason 15-16 teams in a row have won game 2 at home after losing game 1. AD putting up a monster game and losing by 2 points would not have been any better for the Lakers.
It's not about being satisfied with a split. You can't expect to him put up those monster numbers every game. Not to mention the warriors literally put two to three guys on him every time he touched the ball in the paint. It was basically him and three other guys near the rim that were from the warriors. Y'all got to watch basketball and understand what you're looking at

Warriors are just something special. A true Dynasty. Even now they put on classic after classic, as defending champs. I remember seeing “the Warriors aren’t on the Lakers & Celtics level of dynasty so they don’t get respect” but the Warriors are on some Bulls/Spurs dynasty type sh*t & that deserves respect!!
AD's extreme inconsistency is maddening. If the Lakers are gonna win they need AD to put in dominant and consistent performances on both ends of the floor. The Lakers young role players need to pull their weight too.
I'm not a Lakers fan but comon the win formula for the Lakers is pretty easy.
All they need is 2-3 dominant games by AD because LBJ will deliver at least one by himself.
So the game last night does not matter because you can't expect th splash brothers go off for 50+ every game as well.

The Lakers can't afford to give away games to the Warriors. So AD needs to consistently play like the super star he is. The warriors had two to three guys on him. Every time he was in the paint they forced him to try and make outside shots which he couldn't on a consistent basis. They force LeBron James to be a jump shooter and the dude didn't have a good shooting night but still put up some decent numbers.
They still won some of those even games without an outstanding performance from him.

If the people who regularly watch basketball are all honest with ourselves, I think we have to recognize that Anthony Davis' body just does not allow him to do back-to-back games very well whether it's a one-day gap or two-day gap in between the games, it just doesn't hold up. Also, that affects him mentally, so that's why it seems like he's not very present in the moment sometimes, and it comes across like he isn't motivated.

To me it was where he took his shots his misses were beyond 10 feet from the basket he was catching the ball near free throw line most of the time and then Warriors double team or force him to shoot unbalanced jumpers shots fadeaways.
