  • Should You buy the Tesla Model S Plaid? Is the Tesla Model S Plaid worth it?
In this video, Chandler David Smith reviews his brand new 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid, and shares why he thinks most people should not buy the Tesla Model S Plaid. He shares his first experiences with the production car with the fastest 0-60 time and also his opinions on the look and feel of the car. He also shares exclusive plans for the car, such as wrapping the tesla plaid, replacing the base model wheels with custom wheels, etc. Everyone has seen basic reviews on the Tesla Model S Plaid, but in this video he makes a full and complete review of the Tesla Model S Plaid.
In this video, Chandler tests the launch control of the Tesla Model S Plaid, to see how realistic the 0-60 time of 1.99 seconds is in normal use. If you are wondering, is the Tesla Model S Plaid really the fastest car in the world, your question is answered here. He shares how he feels the car has aspects that can be unsafe. He shares an experience how the Tesla Model S Plaid brakes were no adequate for stopping and slowing the car when driving at high speeds.
Chandler David Smith compares head to head the Tesla Model 3 Performance vs. Tesla Model S Plaid when it comes to weight ratio, AWD, speed, and handling. People are wondering will the Tesla Plaid hold its value, and is the Tesla Plaid worth it? This video also talks about the better quality interior the Tesla Model S Plaid has with the heated and ventilated seats, and all new white interior. Did Tesla improve their quality control? This is a Tesla Model S Plaid full interior review for the Tesla Model S Plaid with white interior and satin carbon fiber trim. People want to know why Tesla Plaid has same design as the previous Model S , and why Tesla does not change their design, but the most major visual change was the new Tesla steering yoke. In this video, Chandler talks about what it is like driving with the yoke, and his experience real world driving in the city with the Tesla steering yoke is like. Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for future videos, where he will compare the Plaid to his other performance cars he has owned such as the Tesla Model 3 Performance, Porsche Taycan Turbo, and even gas powered supercars like the C8 Corvette and Ferrari 458. Many people are wondering are Tesla Model S Plaids being delivered, is the Tesla Model S Plaid available, and in this video he dives into it, because the Tesla was delayed for so many months, and kept missing the promised delivery dates.

A 3 sec 0-60 is fast enough for me so saved $40K and bought mS long range. For safety, I drive under 100mph so brakes and handling seem fine to me. the crazy part with that is the LR is just a software limited 0-60 lol it could definitely hit 2.2/2.3 but that would cut to far into plaid sales tbh
the new LR is beast and only has a tiny 1/4 mile difference (obv due to the locked 0-60) than the pre-refresh S Performance and taycan turbo s and beats both of those cars in their 60-130 numbers it’s a great value for what the previous gen performance models / 100D long ranges used to run.
just sucks that they upped the price to 95k from its original 80k price

Compared to other manufacturers Tesla do lack that last piece of quality. Be it panel gaps paint etc. However the technology they have is miles ahead of anyone else. airbags so advanced that seatbelts are obsolete. A sterile air mode that effectively allows you to drive through bio hazards. Best sound system in the world utilising the windscreen as a resonator. Most powerful ultrasonic radar system ever made. The list goes on. Yes I’m getting a plaid.

I have one, the brakes are actually very good, it’s just so fast that when you pass someone on the freeway for example you’re already on the speed limiter (163) in just a few seconds.
I would recommend Tesla adds an adjustable spoiler on the back to help with braking from the speed this Plaid achieves.
An aero kit and carbon ceramics on the Plaid will make it outperform almost any multi million dollar car even on the track (check Laguna Seca track times).

I often hit 145+ and occasionally 163 with zero braking issues. That's because I let off early and allow the regen to do all the braking. You're right, the brakes on the car is not made for a nearly 5k lbs car that hits crazy speeds so fast. Use better judgement and let off early and you'll have no issues slowing the car down. No brake dust and your brakes will last nearly forever. I rarely have to use my brakes. I only go fast if there's room to make combination passes and then I'm gone. Leave room, never tail gate, pull over and the fools speed into braking situations. Wait for combo pass openings then bam, seeyaaaaa. Of course this is only done if 1)Equipment is safe 2)Conditions are safe 3) No traffic cops(brainwashed wealth transfer infantry low lives)

Upgrading the brakes are fairly easy.
    1. Just upgrade to better(cooler) brake pads (very cheap).
    2. New/larger brake calipers + better brake pads (gives decent results)
    3. New/larger brake discs + brake calipers + brake pads (gives good results)
Back in the days when ppl knew how to just upgrade those on their cars themself it was a cheap fix. Nowadays I guess few knows how to turn a wrench and needs to turn it in to a shop it might get a bit expensive. But if you know how to do some basic stuff on a car yourself. A Tesla is no different then other cars I have worked on.
Guess the handling could be adjusted with software if a "racemode" similar to M3P is added that stiffen up the suspension a bit, extra swaybars are very cheap to add also though.
This should do a good difference?
