This is the most outgoing I've ever heard Alexis in an interview. Craig is a great conversationalist.
He’s a genius at getting people to open up. So was his former boss Letterman and Alexis was on there too. I never dated her or Lauren Graham sadly.

Man Craig perfectly adapts to people. He could tell she was anxious and he just chilled out, nothing creepy or overtly crazy like usual, he played it cool so she felt comfortable. What a legend
it's almost like hosts and/or their producers 'pre-interview' guests to gather information to tailor the interviews or something
@@SKRUBL0RD No, Craig never did that. He would meet them backstage briefly but his whole thing was that when he interviewed a guest it was not planned out, that's what made it so refreshing. He literally rips up the questions on the card at the start of every show.

This is what Craig is about. You can clearly see that she is nervous. Craig knew that and all his behavior was "Calm down, we are friends here, we are here to have some fun". Goes in topics she is comfortable, making some jokes.

I had never heard of Shel Silverstein until my son was in elementary school in the early 1980s and related some of his work they'd covered in class. Hilarious !! He then brought a book of his poetry home and we had a ball as he read this stuff to me and I was literally laughing out loud. Great father-son bonding. I really miss that. (I'd gone to Catholic school; humor wasn't allowed.)

Fabulous to see the real Alexis, great interview, made her feel totally relaxed and it showed, I always feel she is put under undue pressure to conform by appearing on this kind of thing.

well probably because really all she did was Gilmore girls, not much else noteworthy after that. There are plenty of cute girls that were more out there in tv/movies. Girls like her, are great, but there are plenty in Hollywood that do much more, and there are a lot of cute girls in Hollywood to put on the show.
We missed out on the 'fireworks horseplay'.

She's bilingual, Spanish is her first language.
Her father is Argentinean and her mother lived some years in Mexico. They spoke in Spanish at home, and she began to learn English at school.

Apparently, they started dating after that interview, it was even mentioned a couple of times on the show, some of his quest friends were making fun of him for it. No matter how hard I searched online, I've never found it though :/ Could be quite fun.
