    Interesting idea using just a capacitor. I've been thinking about a frequency drive but now I'm not sure. Thanks for the info.

    Cool projects, a friend of mine had has a bridgeport mill that runs on 3 phase. He put a 2 hp single phase on a board, a belt to a 3 phase. Single plugs into the wall and turns the 3 phase into a geneator to run the mill. It works great on all his heaver duty machines in his shop

      Thanks for watching. If I’m not mistaken that’s a Rotory Phase converter that’s the best most HD way to go

      @@pbmachines972 your right but he just used a 3 phase motor . Can you do cylinder heads

      Yep works awesome funny though my Bridgeport is factory single phase go figure

      @@pbmachines972 never seen one of those, myn is 3 phase and I'm running a Cheapo WNY static phase converter, there like 70 bucks, it worked really well though.
