Jim is 100% right, if you’re a small business owner trying to grow your business, it’s flabbergasting to show up empty-handed. It clearly wasn’t because Joe didn’t want to bring substandard product, he just doesn’t have that type of mindset. He honestly would’ve come off better if he said “shit you’re right, it’s going down next time I’m up here” instead of listing every excuse in the book.

i work at a deli that also gets their bread baked fresh daily and delivered every morning. a day old baguette gets like 5x harder after 24 hours and it sucks, nobody wants that shit. that’s the bread you use as panini’s the next day cuz it needs to be toasted

Owning a bar/restaurant and doing stand-up, constantly traveling etc is much more stressful than being an engineer. All different skill set though.

When I listened to this live I wanted punch Joe through the radio. I don't understand how he doesn't think it's psychotic to go into a radio show to promote his sandwich shop and he doesn't bring one sandwich. The excuse of the bread not being made yet is crazy!! 3 days notice or not, he should of went to his shop early and made sandwiches just for this promotion.

The way Jim only looks at Sam while talking to every guest makes me cringe. For years now, Jim and guests have full conversations while staring directly into Sam's eyes. And why are they obsessing over Joe not bringing in a fucking sandwich.
