I dont usually like new songs, but this one has nice melody to it, just dont understand the meaning of Jar Werx and or the lyrics.

From my understanding "Jah werx" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the beauty in the world. That is, Jah is the rasta "god" and "werx" is just playful jabs at how we spell things on the internet when we are being lighthearted and mean 'works'. The following lines "And I'm fine today...but at the same damn time." are basically just juxtaposing how -as previously mentioned- there is beauty in the world and there is also stuff to struggle with "at the same damn time" because life is a mixture of good and bad. I wish I was smart enough to say I came up with all of this, but when I first learned about this song all of 1 day ago I tracked down some internet interviews and some of this was pretty close to what the author himself said. He had said some stuff about how this album was more about 'yeah I know the last album was dark and there is still darkness in life, but that's OK. I'm doing OK. I'll be Ok." I dunno, what I'm saying isn't the law of the land; I've had a few beers, but I got interested in the song and did a little bit of digging and that's what I came up with. Nonetheless, it's a great song.
