@10:20 Welder here. For what you’re doing spot welding will be absolutely fine. A continuous run will usually be more structurally sound (weld pool gets hotter equalling better fusion between the pool and parent materials and you “push” the pool, equalling more penetration) but on non-structural thin stuff like an exhaust spotting would suffice. Less chance of a blow through that way.
I find it much easier to weld thin materials, my welding machine has wire speed and amps "glued" together so most of the time when I'm trying to get good penetration and higher heat I'm just adding too much material and creating lumps or thick welds that don't look good, on the other hand thin welding always comes out nice for me, just some mild settings, chamfer on the edges and space in between, even full beeds come out nice and flush, but I usually spot weld.

Red onion tomato & cucumber salad takes 5 mins more but worth it. All bought from Aldi, less than a tenner for 4 servings & 30 minutes including shopping and cooking 👍

Always unplug my corded grinders when swapping disc. So for battery powered, Take the batt off! Yah almost had two injured hands, stay safe. Never been good at making exhaust welds pretty with mig, more of a tig thing but long as it don't leak. Also i always mock it up n put a few tachs on the car, marks can be off a bit on the ground. Getting there guys, keep at it. Trust me I know how these things can drag out LOL
Brb buying a manual v8 bmw. Also I’d have a larr gibon as an exotic pet. Big up you guys for the perseverance on this car, got to be one of the most deserved e36 pints ever
I have the same eBay short shifter and honestly I have no complaints, for the price it’s not that bad. It’s a pig to fit with the exhaust and prop in the way when you’re lying on your back on the drive😂 As for an animal, defos some kind of big cat like a leopard.
if you moved the pivot point from the bottom of the oem shifter lower it would have shortened the throw up top. so youd need an extension piece bolted or welded making the bottom of the OEM shifter longer, then your rod would attach the end of that and be allowed to pivot
I'd love to be able to keep a Liger as an exotic pet, imagine waking up with that staring at you through the bedroom window. Also that car is unreal and this has been a fantastic series to watch, GG boys 🤙

I made the spicy sausage pasta recently. I highly recommend

Boq you can scrape out the middle of the cucumber first, then grate whats left (the outside thirds ish) and it shouldn't be too watery
Paint doesn’t stop rust, it takes in the water, you need to wrap it or use exhaust paste over the welds
