Great video! Thanks for putting this together. I own an US 84 GTS QV, and have had it 15 years, put ~30K on it. I know 308s very very well. I hope you don't take offense, but I just wanted to point out a few things in an effort to help you since you're selling it: * The dash is actually black vinyl, not leather. It's actually a better material for the dash as it less prone to cracking and shrinkage. That's why it still looks so good. * You're right about no power steering, but it does have power brakes. * The cover you found in the trunk (also vinyl) doesn't go over the roof, rather it goes over the targa top when the targa top is stored behind the seats. * The aerial switch is missing a black knob..Should be the same as the other switches. * Something is going on with the passenger side mirror, looks like the mounting plate assembly is backwards. * If you're planning to do an oil change , I would ditch that K&N oil filter, and replace with a Balwin B253 or the OEM UFI. Thanks again for the great video.
I saw a RUclips video of a modified 1979, carbureted 308 GTB that produces around 270 horsepower, minimal body roll, and an awesome exhaust note by the addition of a Tubi exhaust. I learned that many 308s have been modified by their owners seeking a more modern experience, so it seems that the stock-optioned 308s can be canvasses on which to realize ones dreams!
