Well done, I love the history behind our toys..
If you are interested to "experience" it yourself, there is a quality track mod available for Assetto Corsa!
@@bobgnarley1 @underbird you will probably have seen GPLaps' video on the track and this mod.

Indeed I have. A great RUclips channel, I think.
I didn’t know about it! Excellent video thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Quality as always
I love videos about the old vintage stuff
Another great video
enjoy the videos. This type of video would be great for drone footage.
I took photos of the Opel at 0:38 when it was in a May Day parade in K-town, I have yet to see another car with valve springs through the hood and might be a V8.
what is K town?

So what kind of speeds can deer get to on the banking nowadays?
depends on their downforce
deers are very fast on this kind of tracks. because they are very fat, they dont need downforce at that speed.
I would of loved to live back then....no cell phones.
I want to check my understanding of something you said: that it was the fastest track in Europe when completed. But since it was only the third track ever, and only the second in Europe, aren't you just saying that it was faster than Brooklands?
This was a test track, so not a purpose built race track. Monza is the third oldest race track.
It started as a test track but right after it opened in 1919 (Monza in 1922), they started with race events of all kind.
Dude commented without watching the video 😂
Abandoned tracks are sad. Why didn't this become Europes Indianapolis?
It's literally in the video! The track was too short and couldn't support the fast cars.
@@Sturmovik1946 All post hoc reasoning. Indy is a very flawed track too. Dangerous
@@mvd4436 but it's still bigger and can therefore support faster cars...
@@Sturmovik1946 how can this guy say "post hoc reasoning"? i mean ... you can really udnerstand some people dont understand anything. and you still tell him, he didnt reply. because he thinks you are too .... (what he is himself)
