Hey Meesh and Dee, how it been. I hope two day has been good. Another great episode. A very dark one. As we are introduced to the Tour guide Joo Dee. As you can tell something is wrong with her when she dismisses team Avatar request see the King. We are shown that something is wrong in Bai Sing Sai with Long Feng and the Dai Li agents keeping things quiet about the war. In which some of the residents are in fear of them. Because speaking of the war would result in severe consequences. The Zuko and Jet part as he tries to come up with a way to expose Zuko and Iroh as Firebenders. As he gets captured and arrested and is seen getting brainwashed. Things are picking up in the 2nd half of season 2. I'm looking forward to you two reactions to the following episodes. The horror of having your beliefs and memories taken away is not often commented on in shows for families. Jet pursuits of Iroh and Zuko is what makes most audience members ruit against him. But he is right to be concerned about fire benders wondering the streets. We see this with another firebender in Ba sing se no spoilers though. The audience knows that Iroh is not going to do anything bad to the people of the city but Jet does not know that. This isn’t a very good explanation of my thoughts…. Sorry. I guess i just felt that i had to say something.
Iroh was a revered General for a reason. I think it's because he never made a move without planning for all possible outcomes.
Good point! That could fit with the White Lotus society stuff and Pai Sho if it's kind of like an analog to Chess in the avatar universe.

In season 2, every couple episodes it's like: what - Avatar is taking things *there*? And realistically. Deep stuff, especially for a kids show.
