My previous car was a 2004 Ford Mondeo 2.0 Duratec. The heating and air conditioning were perfect and probably still are now. It had 300+ km in it when I sold it. If the quality and concentration of the coolant is adequate, the system will not be contaminated or scaled.

I had factory coolant in it.(G13) (Since ~ 2019.) And unfortunately, this came after ~5 years.
That's bad luck. But at least it's easy to replace. In most cars, the entire dashboard and heating housing must be removed and the replacement is possible that way.
Hi. My skoda octavia starting heating when I make 25.5 or 26. Also no fresh air on cold. On hot also feel something not clear. Air filter changed, no leakage antifreeze ok. Seems need to change heater ?

I tried to summarize the main reasons in this video: ruclips.net/video/-ST0H7JQ7gY/видео.html
I’m having problems with cold Air in the passengerside and hot Air in the driverside and would change the heater, but cant get the 2 pipes from eachother and Can see you curling the old ones, and hoping to see how you Connect them with the new heater but the video cuts right there 😅 How did you Connect the pipes again? 😊

What part of the pipe fit exactly doesn't work for you? :D
I tried taking them apart without cutting them like you did in the video, so i could Connect them again if the heater wasnt the problem, but gave up because i couldnt get them apart 😅 But i would have liked to see how you connected the new heater with the pipes from the car, because they cant move that much, atleast not when you try getting them apart 😅 I will order a heater tomorrow and then i just Cut the old pipes like you did, and hope i Can Connect the new ones, but it would have been Nice to see how you did it in the video!

Connecting the pipes didn't seem too complicated. You didn't have to push the heater all the way into place, so it will be easier to connect to it. And you may have had to connect the down tube first, but you will experience that. The pipes move a bit, that helps. I think taking the pipes apart is worse than putting them together. 😀

It is useful to know what can cause heating problems: ruclips.net/video/-ST0H7JQ7gY/видео.html
I was worried if i Cut the pipes and couldnt put them together again with the new heater then it would be a Big problem, but you are saying they Can move enough to put them together again? 😅 My father inlaw thinks i should try flushing the heater with water and Air first and see if that helps before i change the heater, but it sounds like thats the solution to my problem with hot Air in left side and cold Air in right side! And we have changed the right side actuator first but that didnt help.
Great video thanks, what is the old (original) item part number? NRF 54361 or something else?
Hi, it appears at 2:30 in the video. Denso 5Q0 819 031 A

hi, is it enough to just top up with more coolant after replacing the radiator?
I did it along with changing the coolant. ruclips.net/video/89qDpmOtC2U/видео.html
ok, but if i'm not going to change all the coolant can i just top up with coolant and the system will bleed itself?
