3 things I want to test
1. Is this a good way to get the guide rail parallel to the saw blade? Yes, it seems to work fine.
2. Can you use the 4 screws at the bottom of the saw to adjust the height? Maybe, it seems to work fine but maybe it can't last for long.
3. Is the construction easy to make? Yes, very easy, there is nothing complicated.
As you can see in the video, my construction is not practical, it is far too difficult to open the saw for cleaning and changing the saw blade, but here I have a few solutions under consideration. The easiest is to move the guide rail to the right side of the saw, but it will then be on the wrong side of the saw blade that is mounted against the left side of the saw.
I hope that some of you working with the idea of a side guide for the Proxxon saw can use it for something and that the google translation makes sense.

I use the system and think it works well but there are some things I would like to improve, the biggest problem is cleaning the saw, the saw cannot be opened without removing the seat. I to find a solution.

Thanks for your comment, the aluminum rails are standard 2040 which can be bought in many places I buy mine locally or on AliExpress

A great improvement to what is a flawed and seriously overpriced item - one would have thought that Proxxon would have addressed the shortcomings of the saw given all the negative reviews and feedback that are out there - or because they are purchased despite the inherent shortcomings, Proxxon turns a blind eye and just takes the money.
I just purchased their hot wire cutter - which has , not surprisingly , a completely inadequate , poorly toleranced fence. The fence is intrinsic to the precision of an otherwise great product, but despite negative feedback over several years, has not been resolved.
Proxxon should be ashamed - it is not the " German Engineering " they advertise.
