- Proxxon FET Cross Cut Sled Drawings. I am regularly asked what measures your Cross Cut Sled. So now I have recreated it in SketsUp and made this little video. Hope this can be helpful for those who want to make their own Cross Cut Sled, but always remember to check out my drawings with your own saw.

Congratulations for your skill and imagination and thank you for sharing everything with us, drawing and dimensions included. Please could you tell me where I could find the type of rails that you are using to attach your fixation bolts ?
Paul Leclerc The aluminum rails I use are curtain rails. I buy them in JYSK, it is a business that exists in many countries. They are very cheap but work really well.
Great sled! I am unable to open the sketchup file. Can you please advise dimension of the aluminium T slot extrusion you have used. Thanks

Hi Harris, I have just purchased one of these saws and would like to copy some of your jigs. The part I am struggling to find is the aluminium track that you use. Can you help? Paul UK
This is because they are curtain rods, they are cheap (€ 10 for 200 cm) and work fine. You can buy them in JYSK, a Danish curtain and bedding store that has branches in many countries.

Hvor kan man købe de t-skinner du bruger til at bygge din slæde med??
Det er faktisk ikke T skinner men gardin stænger, købt i JYSK. Jeg har brugt gardin stænger i mange uden problemer selv om de er blevet noget tyndere i materialet fungerer de stadig fint.

Dem jeg bruger har en bredde på 14 mm og en højde på 8 mm. Jeg tror bredden er standard men jeg har brugt andre som var højere, om de findes i andre mål i specialforretninger ved jeg ikke. Spørg i din lokale genbrugs forretning, så er de som regel meget billige og du kan være heldig at få de gamle som er meget tykkere i godset.

Finger knopperne har jeg købt på EBay og AliExpres men det er lidt problematisk med de nye toldregler. Skruerne er almindelige bræddebolte der er filet til så de passer i skinnen
