For those who wanna jump straight to action 32:00 it's seriously good, saying as a pianist
Indeed, it's mesmerizing.
@@roshnibandhu5114 thank you for listening
Beautiful!
One of the best well-spent hours listening to the most meditative of moods in music. Peerless.
I've played Ragas on a fretless bass alongside my friend's Sitar, but never attempted a Raga on piano before... I can feel an experiment coming on!
Most beautiful and meditative Bageshwari on the Piano ! Thankyou Utsav 👍
This is an absolute gem I found on RUclips.Thank you so much Utsav ji for this gold .
10:08 When you gotta check if the audience is still there.

Love the way that you play 🎹
Wow! absolutely mesmerizing performance
I had never heard Indian ragas on a piano until last night when I watched a Michael Portillo documentary about the British Raj. It's a wonderful fusion of eastern and western sound.
I didn't know something like this is also possible... Thank you so much! :)
@Anuj Mishra Thanks so much for listening. You can check out my music and more videos on my RUclips channel.
Awesome. A Dhrupad based raag played by piano, just unimaginable. I pray, God Bless him & more & more presentations to us
Lovely peace. Very soothing❤️.
I grew up with 60's piano rock including Paul McCartney. Only this can replace that now. Thank you Utsav Lal.
Fantastic. Enjoyed all aspects of recital, especially Jor Jhala. Excellent rendition of Bagheshri.

Wonderful rendition of bhimpalasi .
Its bageshri
@@shivranjinighegde1113 yeah I just realised I had missed the many Sñdm pd m g rs
@@sarthakharuray8151 to beb honest, as a kid I used to always get confused between the two. that's because both the raags give out the same mood, don't know how ...
@@shivranjinighegde1113 lol me too !
Finding ways to achieve note-bending effects on fixed-pitch instruments is quite a challenge, isn't it?
But it can be done...
Wonderful playing, very demonstrative of the free flowing nature of ragas. But I think it could've been a little less impressionistic and more classical/well-structured!
I am a total newbie just got a keyboard as a first toward learning music. So not qualified to comment on the video. I just realized I got my first step wrong. I should have gone to the ENT doctor had my ears checked first
It's time to sleep. Good night everyone
Nice, but the piano doesn't allow one to play gamakas, which are the key difference between Indian must and European music.
I mean gamakas are amazing and I incorporate it a lot on sitar but thinking about an instrument like the santoor shows how you can perform amazing renditions of ragas with only fixed notes
@@obdeisibcirrus993 This pianist is an excellent player. I just don't like the piano in music that doesn't use equal temperament tuning.

We do not have to like everything that is good. Or do we?
Cocaine s pretty good
So you don't like this?
You can't play carnatic music on western piano without re-tuning the keyboard to equal temperament.
Very boring, ye instrument play ker rha hai ya nakhre kerne aya hai.... overacting ke paise kaato iske😂
Not good enough I would say ...
80% over acting 20% random skill of hitting right notes
Haha, you need to learn more about music, 😂, brother plz develop some sense.
This music isn't meant for people like you get lost from here
Lol...tuh chutiya hai Bhai...jaa Jake Atif Aslam sun
Music listening is haraam in Islam, what are you doing here, pig !

A 1 hr video of nonsense
A one line comment of utter nonsense. Yes I'm talking about your comment
There's a saying empty vessels make much noise and no I'm not saying it to you oh wait you gotcha 😂
@@shivranjinighegde1113 You Indians are so bad at taking criticism. I'm so glad I left the country 😅😅
@@padrao4099 Well you're making a lot of noise too 😅. Kinda ironic, I pity you for not noticing your own hypocrisy. Aah typical Indian
I did not liked it.
But for me,classical piano is more boring...
If this guy would at least change chords(I now, that it would be not raga) I would like his performace.
