If water baptism was only before Christ's death, why did Paul baptize the two? Paul appears to be a follower of Jesus years aftrr his death. Holy Spirit baptism happened to the apostles (Acts 2:1-4). Acts 11:16, the first non-Jew (Gentile) is converted to Christ. The account is given in Acts 10. Verses 44-48 show that the Holy Ghost fell on all of them which heard the word. The circumcision were astonished that the Holy Ghost was poured out on the Gentiles. The implication is that this is something as of yet unseen. So the maybe 11 years since the church began (Acts 2) no one has received the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in this way. Verse 47, they ask can any forbid water that they should be baptized? No, the Gentiles are also excepted into the kingdom of God, the church, the saved. 1 Peter 3:21 tells us we are saved by water just as Noah was. Jesus commissioned the apostles to go, teach, baptize, teach. Matthew 28: 18-20. Those who were baptized on Pentecost were added to the church by the Lord. Acts 2:41 & 47...

These are just a few of the hurtful comments we may have read throughout the years of watching this religious program. While it may be very discouraging to some who read such slander, I assure you it is far more encouraging to know that there are men out there like Johnny and Caleb who are not afraid to stand up for Jesus and speak the whole truth. As an avid viewer of "WDTBS" It brings me great homer and joy to say that I am a christian and a member of the ONE body that we all can read about in our New Testament's It also brings me great honor and Joy to know that these men still continue to fight the good fight of faith despite all these differences we may see n the comments.
