@MedicalCodingwithBleu - following your independent study guide, we will cover CPT in Step 5. Should we purchase "AMA CPT PROFESSIONAL EDITION" as we approach Step 5 - or sooner? I heard what you said about having the correct year manual for when we test. Is there a benefit/need to have it before Step 5? I am just starting Step 1 - so I won't test until well into 2025. Thanks for your help!
You can get the CPT book whenever you like. If you know your not taking your test until after April 2025 then you can wait. Don't think too much into the guide. It's just a guide. You can get things as you go, it's fine.

Is there a big different between the 2023 and 2024 edition
There were updates to some of the codes but you can still use it to practice.
