As long is it's bolted into the wall studs, do you think stacking a couple of studs under the base would help increase the overall max height for taller users?
Luke, You're going to need to put an additional pulley on the ceiling to do lat pull downs. You're allready bolting the device to the wall, so adding a pulley in the ceiling shouldn't be an issue.
It's a great design they just need to incorporate their tornado arms with one on each side and the stack in the center. Also make a taller version (though having arms that can pivot up higher can help alleviate this a bit)! And lastly maybe a way to easily load plates to get heavier. If you're providing a pulldown leg holder you need to be able to load over 200lbs. But still, can see some people really liking something like this. Solid review and really hope you can do a RX3 Tornado Rack review too!
I agree! I wonder how they could incorporate that with it! That’s definitely the issue if you want to do that pulldown is cable travel is not like your traditional lat pulldown movement
Great insights I would love to have that tornado series on us! I was hoping that we could find a way to get Matt Porter’s design on this but it’s not possible with how this is designed! I hope they will let me review one! Cross your fingers!
@@LukesGarageGymmakes sense. I was thinking about buying this. But not being able to do 10 lbs (for my not-strong wife) seems like a big con. Thanks for the quick reply!
@@sayedislam9120 right! I’m sure pulling the two handles get you that 10 without the pin! I haven’t done it since I don’t use that weight but I’ll go test to make sure
Most bench-integrated leg extensions are not good at all. Bad resistance profile for growth (no tension in the first 1/3rd of the movement) and limited ROM for leg extensions. If you really want a bench-based solution, I'd check out the Gear For Fit Freestanding Leg Extension/Curl. It's probably the best bench "attached" one since it can work with most benches and actually has a reasonable resistance profile with some tension in the first 1/3rd of the movement. Still not great ROM though to allow a deep stretch with your feet back and under you fully bending the knee, no bench leg extension has this.
Good for tri’s and bi’s cable exercises but for lat pulldowns naaah. Too low for a full ROM unless you sit on the floor which I don’t want for lat pulldowns.
I could see putting this is a closet or something. Aside from that don't see a use case for that dimension. Its not really space saving as you can't put anything in front of it to repurpose that space. Space saving with Width makes the most sense. The BOS selectorized is the space saver that makes the most sense.
Speaking from a single-bay garage gym - this would save me a LOT of space. Slim enough to fit across from a piece like a squat rack that takes up more space.
@@jCos8 absolutely! I know a lot of my issue was that things were super deep and would take away from the center of my gym, which I should’ve said more for my preferences I like to have as much room walking around so something like this would work out great since it’s only 4 inches off the wall😊
You can park a car in front of it when you’re not working out. You can have free floor space to set up an adjustable bench with dumbbells. I’ve seen lots of home gyms in narrow spaces with a power rack on the back wall with barely enough room to load plates on each side and a deadlift platform in front of it. You could add this to the wall next to the platform and still be able to deadlift. Could think of many more examples, there’s tons of value in having something that almost flush with the wall instead of protruding several feet into the room.

Really like the compact design. Looks good for bicep and tricep work.
takes up such little room! great concept!
Who else was waiting for him to do chest flys? 😂
HAHAAHAH snap my shoulders trying to do that
Epic video brother very informative, entertaining, and well thought out. Keep it up 💯👊🤙
thanks my bro!!

I mean I don’t see how it couldn’t you know??
@@LukesGarageGymI asked the same. I guess the the only sacrifice is if you seated row or cable curls. Then could just stand on a short box
@ right! you’d be good there
I love the slim profile, but am concerned about the limited height. Any chance they put out a “tall” version like some other manufacturers have?
@ I’m sure they could make it an option if a lot are interested
I definitely love a space saving piece. I guess I need to check out more get RX stuff.
man they are doing some great things!!
Impressive they fit all that into 4". Great review 👌
blew me away!! thanks brother!!
This is perfect for my small garage
it would be!!!
Awesome video review, Luke! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We really appreciate the positive feedback.
thank you guys again! Keep creating amazing products to help the home gym community grow!!
Very cool. The should make a low row plate too - would work perfect for that
@@steverapos3904 yes!! I can see them doing that soon

that’s a solid point!!
Hey Luke. What is the brand for the bench and lat. pull down attachment? I cannot find it. please help me to find them.
Thanks.
it’s the living fit adjustable bench! I’ll be reviewing this month!
How does the smoothness compare to the Vesta next to it?
oh, it’s the exact same because they use the same high-quality cable and aluminum pulley wheels that Vesta does
Aloha can you pls do a review on getrxd Tornado Racks.
yo!! I am hoping so down the road!! Looks absolutely awesome!
I just wish it was a little taller. Could I block under it to make it taller for like tricep pulldown or lat pulls?
@@aphk0410 I really don’t see why not if it’s in a stud. just need a few people to help hold it up

Tornado arms would be a great idea. Could elevate and provide distance off the wall for more vertical pull down.

Always gotta attempt to max the stack for review purposes
meat head style LOL people say I don’t lift so some entertainment 🤌
If you just let the weight pin hang freely, does it default to the 10 lbs?
yeah somethings gotta pull still! Just odd to me since it’s always atleast been accessible and not cut off like this

What’s the best bench to get with the leg extension?
I’ve heard the buzzsaw from Bells is great! My dad is a huge fan of his iron master pro with his leg extension attachment. I’d check those two out!

Yeah or snug up in a corner. It’s spacing saving in the fact there’s not much depth to it so you can easily maneuver around your gym

@@jCos8 but it you have space for a rack then why not get a half rack with a functional trainer built in?
