I really love how the loddles are happier when you put them back in biomes. I've noticed that because the Home Cove doesn't have food growing, the lodddles get hungry and sad really fast. I appreciate that small detail from the developers as it means they encourage you not to keep the loddles away from their natural habitats for too long.
This game is adorable! I love how the little player character is soft and kinda floppy like a doll. I loved seeing the blooming biodiversity of the cleaned areas, although I would like to see more fish and such swimming around in addition to the loddles. They can't be the only major species on a planet lol
I 100% agree with the beastiary. I'm currently one achievement away from completion, which is to get all loddle types, so it would be perfect to be able to figure out which I'm missing and track all the ones I have
If you check the thread discussions for the game, someone put together how to get each loddle. What combos of food you feed them affect the form they will evolve into when they reach 100% growth

I would also prefer that the trash stayed away. Maybe just have excess spawn outside the habitats or something when you get to 100% or something. Just to keep the little dudes safe
If anyone plays this on their own, a tip for you: the crafting machine can actually hold your recycled bits so you don't have to clog up your storage slots with them. Not that I've ever filled the ship storage, EVER- but nice little detail to know that you can throw them in there and not have to worry. The one exception is that the food and toy crafter cannot use the recycled bits from the other machine's inventory, but there's only one item that uses a single organic bit, so it's not a huge problem to make another real quick.
You should play island saver next ,I don’t know if you already have but it’s kinda like this game except you clean many different islands and save animals this game definitely reminds me of it 😊
I wonder where the rest of the key card things were? Also, if there was a whale loddle, imagine the one the girl took off base became one of those... I don't actually know if it was the food you fed them that 'changed' them.. it could be though.
feeding them does change their attributes, yes. which is funny, considering gab fed all of them majority tubey melons and most ended up as puffer varieties with the rare outlier 💀

Her talking about the auto save reminded me of how I was playing Harvest Moon on my GameCube the other night and I went from fall 14 to day 30 and didn't save and it froze at the pumpkin festival! Super sucked! I've already made it back there and saved again though 😁
I finished this game sOOO quickly! Didn't expect myself to get so attached to the loddles even if I didn't keep them in the Home Cove for extended amounts of time ❤ I thought I wouldn't have to leave forever in the ending and that unexpectedly made me so sad
This game is adorable! But a little underwhelming as far as where it goes and the ending. Are they in the process of adding more to it? I feel like there’s no reason to come back to it once you finish which is kind of disappointing since it’s not that long of a game anyway. Maybe we’ll see updates in the future?

My hubby bought the game for me when he heard me squealing at Gab and the loddles making sounds at each other, and we were both really disappointed with how little content was in it. I'm not really upset about it being too short- I'm always okay with replaying shorter games for that extra fix- but it just seemed like it needed more. New biomes makes a lot of sense.

If you like this one and happen to have a GameCube around, I'd highly reccommend Chibi Robo as well! Same cleaning zen, but with actual characters and story.

evelien, please check out roots of pacha! its a stardew-valley-like game (i know a lot of people say that to a lot of games but this one actually!!) set in the stone age where you progress with your clan with new ideas for your farm/village. though the daily grind and mining feel very similar to SV, because of the theme and there not being the "modern" farming/building items and techniques it feels really refreshing and is a lot of fun!
