For me, the game developers had a really neat concept, but because the puzzles were so difficult with no hints (especially for the secrets), it took away from the atmosphere. For someone whose whole job is puzzles and escape rooms, having to look up all of the solutions is telling. I hope the amazing concept but better puzzles makes its way to episode 2!
Hypnotism may not have any real power, however an odd thing occurred as I was watching this. When the doctor said 1. take a deep breath, I took a deep breath, at the same time as Gab did. I laughed it off, but when he said, 2. you're perfectly relaxed, I said, "Never!" at the same time Gab did in the video. I'm willing to bet a bunch of other people did exactly the same thing.
Hypnosis definitely has power, but only the power you allow it. It works with that part of our brain that’s so intensely powerful it can change the way we feel and behave despite having contradicting external stimulus. For example, a large amount of people think that ginger ale helps nausea and stomach problems but there’s no reason it should, if anything it should do the opposite. Ginger itself certainly helps, but ginger ale doesn’t have enough ginger to be beneficial, and the carbonation scientifically should make nausea and stomach aches worsen. So, why do people report feeling better? Placebo, the belief that it works makes it work, and that’s essentially what hypnosis is. It’s also been scientifically proven that placebo remains effective even after people are aware of the reality, once you form that connection between something and a desired outcome it’s harder to change than simply the knowledge that it isn’t supposed to do that. Which is probably why hypnosis used in certain medical settings, I’ve personally been offered a referral to a hypnotherapist specialist a few times but they never followed through. I was offered it for pain management, to see if I could willingly change my own perception and pseudoscience myself into believing the pain didn’t exist. Never got that appointment, so I can’t say whether it would’ve worked or not, but the fact that it’s an entire section of the pain department at my hospital says it must work for a good amount of people.
@@ellespoonies Hypnotherapy is also actually quickly becoming one of the most effective mental health treatments for smoking addictions too, the placebo effect is definitely very powerful if you just let it do it's thing!

We should support the creator!! Everyone get the game and review it :)
The siren level with the wonderful piano music and the "calculating" made me laugh
Blankie, snacks, kittie and Gabs 👍🏼 Perfect evening
Well, can attest that real pain goes into your dreams. Took a nap using my arm as a pillow, my are fell asleep and in my dream I was slowly sawing it off. So. Some correlation
😊Super awesome 👑
🦃Happy Thanksgiving everyone 🥧
The green room experiment! let’s go! thanks for the video and happy thanksgiving gab!🦃🥧
9:43 idk, but in real life, I can tell you if it hurts enough in real life it hurts in the dream. Often I start getting insane cramps in my dream to the point I wake up, and turns out I’m still in a hell of a lot of pain, even worse than in the dream, and I have to really strong painkillers to be able to slow the pain down a bit and to maybe have a chance at sleeping more. I have a chronic very painful condition. I always thought about it as in I start being in a lot of pain and it seeps into the dream, but who knows, maybe it’s the opposite too 😂
Love itt can’t wait for the 2nd one
i love your scene investigators stream idk but i just had to say it HAHAH
this was super interesting! not my type of game, but watching you play was cool
I'm glad u have patience for these games cause I'd get aggravated real quick. 😀
I wonder if you'd be interested in playing The Walking Dead someday, I just replayed all four! It never gets old lol
Your hoodie is so poppin
Loved smooth jazz math time!
I think the rat was trying to show you to the page that was under the bed.
I dont know if anyone else wrote this already but the pattern for the books shelf was written on the books.
😩🤍why haven't I found your channel sooner I always love mystery puzzle type of games and I love seeing you play it cause you smart thx for these awesome videos!!!
im so grateful for gabs
Difficult spot to me? I'm thinking where do you wash your hands! 😂
In hindsight watching this while running on a treadmill wasn’t the best of my ideas-
We’re playing Skyrim 😂 I love you Gab!
This is gonna give me some crazy dreams 😅
The game style kind of reminds me of Myst a little bit
This game wasn't the best to watch with a fever. The noisy place especially gave me anxiety.
I was taking a nap cause I’m sick too and the alarms woke me up/gave me anxiety too! :(
What was the name of the music/song that was played instead of those annoying sirens? Really enjoyed it❤
"[...] Guinea pigs, called butterflies [...]"
Fuckin' hell, I'm out :P
I love this game
I not exactly sure but the books in the file rooms zig-zag up and down. When you move the keft or right it could have aligned them?

HAAA lol I got what you did there
that picture puzzle really made no sense. Like yeah it kind of makes sense but without hints people would naturally think when you die you see the light. There was nothing to suggest the whole "first there was light" aspect
I was confused at this, too, but if you go back and look, there are little props surrounding the paintings that give a little more context. In the light burst one, there is a globe. I think that was supposed to give the creation hint but I'm sure diff ppl could interpret that in different ways.
Your French accent is pretty good ! Tu m’as impressionné !
I would llove to see episode 2!
Let play the second part pls!!!! It was super interesting!!!
The dominoes looks like who can play both tiles. There's the 2/2 cross area that he can play the 2/1 then the 1/1.
Great game! I would not mind you, Gab, if you do the next chapter and beyond. Please switch to an alternate music if the future chapters have annoying sounds. Thanks.
I wanted to finish this in one go but my brain won’t let me since it can’t handle first person gameplays 😢 I’ll finish it hopefully 🙏🏾
Love watching ur br and horror games
Figured I'd watch u as well
I'm not getting any work done for the next 75 minutes!
