This wreck has proven that nascar has become safer and a lot more effort in the drivers when that have crashes like this and they are able to walk away like nothing happened. It’s a shame the favorites got taken out but I’m just glad they are ok.

That's what happens when you run low profile in ovals lol. Tbh i wish they didn't go with the 18 inch wheels low profile tires. The 15 inch steelies made the tire stand out more and you could tell the tires were heavy duty lol

NASCAR has made some bonehead calls over the years but tonight was the the worst ever when they lit up the caution when Ryan Blaney was only about 100 feet from the checkered flag. Absolutely disgusting!!

That’s just what I think was going on.
You could clearly see that Chastain had plenty of time to see the slow car. All he has to do is stay where he was in the front of that freight train and go around on the right hand side and Chase Elliott would have won that race brother million dollars for the million dollars, it was just a dumb stupid move
After seeing the in-car of Ross Chastain, I'm amazed that during a wreck they have the presence of mind to not hold onto the wheel. I would think it would be second nature to attempt to steer but he pulled his hands pack to save his wrists and fingers.

I watched this I don't know how many times and basically have just come to the conclusion that regardless of what Kyle Busch did he was gonna cause and absolute spectacular wreck. If he tried to stay high he would have been clobbered by the 24 or the 12 just the same. Just crappy luck there
Reality is Chastain probably should have stayed high. Busch was already coming down. Of course it's easy to say now after it already happened and not going 175mph.
As much as I don't care for Kyle Busch, I was glad to see he walked to the Ambo for the ride to the care center. He had NO IDEA what hit him, it happened so dang fast! And Ross Chastain had absolutely no time to either slow down, or veer out of Busch's fast approaching car

I went to this race with one of my friends and he’s never been to a NASCAR race before and this is his first time and he said there’s gonna be a flip and then I said that’s like one in 1 million and then this happens😂

If the made the tires harder, it would make for worse racing, with zero fall off. This experiment of putting low profile tires on these cars has been a failure. So many issues every single week. NASCAR needs to admit that these low profile tires just aren't made for stock car oval racing.

Kyle did not appear to try to stay up. Anyone committed to the inside racing lane had zero chance of not hitting him. To be fair, the racing lanes swap from inside to outside so it's a tough track when it comes to staying out of the way.
Im no doctor One thing I got say is if that had happened in the 80s,90s or 2000s Ross would probably be in hospital at least kyle might have had a broken leg and chase would have had broken ribs or something like that so its great that everyone was ok and I was really surprised at how little kyle car deformed after being driven over next gen car for the win
I think it's time for NASCAR when there contract runs out is to get rid of Goodyear tires and go to Firestone tires or Goodrich tires to many times there tires blow out to many times

These cars aren’t as safe as the Gen 6 cars, these cars do not have near as much crumple as the Gen 6 due to the stiffness of the chassis and frame.
If that was an Indy crash he would have shot like a rocket straight toward the catchfence.

The line is down at the apron though and it's pretty customary that if you're off the pace you stay high. Glad everyone's okay regardless

Should have been a yellow for Kyle on the front straight at 50 mph off the pace. WTF, NASCAR??? Also is Ross`s spotter sleeping, once again, WTF?
