    Well, Alan did solve the hidden door, giving him the extra pieces to help her solve the puzzle. I actually think Alan did almost perfectly by not interrupting the person who was on a roll.

      She solved the gaps herself, she told him E=y and he agreed as he had those letters, then she said "I think it says". She didn't have all the deciphers.
      It was bound to happen as she is very intelligent. Needed a better riddle or as others said here to split the riddle between them.

      They said that was a great positive. That I basically behave like a robot and do whatever they say.
      I love that they doesn't expect me to take iniative in this situation. Because I get overwhelmed oj where to start with cleaning so you need to direct me like an automaton.

      @lindam156 2 года назад +3

      @@kitsuneneko2567 that is true but that’s not what the video title was implying by “a bit useless”. They could’ve said “when you don’t need your teammate” in order to highlight VCM’s genius. The wording definitely implies that Alan was useless, as in “a poor performer”.

    The problem was the task itself. They should have given half the riddle to each team mate. A task for Victoria to do before Alan could get the Chaplin gear would have also caused more teamwork. As it played out... Victoria had all the instructions, all the riddle and enough of the clues to get it done before the task even started. Not Alan's fault but also not Victoria's either.

    I feel like the work would have been shared a bit more evenly if the letters on the back of the jigsaw hadn't been in alphabetical order and/or if Victoria had been given the first half rather than the second. Because even if you've only got half of the middle column, if it's the second half then you know the first half is just the normal alphabetical order. And it's really not difficult to do a code-breaker when you've been given 19 out of 26 letters.
