There actually is a difference, "remixes" are songs that take most of the original style and (most often) make a new "mix" of the main drop or chorus (while still keeping more of the original style). "Bootlegs" are songs that borrow some loop or style from a song then go with it in a style or tune that is (most often) completely different from the original song. They are also often done without the consent of the original artist. There's more to these two definitions than what I've written, but that's a different can of worms. This would most likely classify more as a bootleg.

It's a completly new song, not a remix. Remix means you modify the original song, but you made a completly new song that comparable to the original
