Dan is good
Gothenburg bingo had me laughing out loud. I was just thinking about how Alex slipped Gothenburg in there earlier in the episode yet again
Ofc this is uploaded right after my flight lands
I always have a few good laughs and smiles listening to you ...thank you. Really enjoy you both.
Was travelling through yvr and they didn’t have us take out liquids or laptops but it was the old scanners. I asked and the agent said they were running updated software algorithms. Maybe they can retrofit all the old scanners. 🤷
Whenever I fly virgin upper class into LAX it always feels like there are some actors or musicians on board with an entourage, and they may sit on the lounge sofas together but they won’t welcome other passengers. definitely more friendly with a bar instead
My favourite aviation related film was from the Thai horror anthology 4bia, in the last film of the interconnected series titled Flight 224. It's the only example I know of an haunted empty aircraft.
I am not a big fan of BA HOWEVER I ABSOLUTELY LOVE VIRGIN ATLANTIC and yes I had a seat next to the bar and i completely agree with u there it gets a little noisy but still an amazing flight…
Bismarck Airport has added a few enhancements to the TSA screening process to make travel easier and safer. There are over 400 federalized airports in the United States, and the Bismarck airport is one of the ones that have the new TSA scanners to enhance patron travel. TSA scanners have made it a lot quicker to get through security. An ID scanner is also a new technology.
“It validates that you are flying out that day. So you no longer need to show your boarding pass separately. Just show your ID. And again, it validates the ID better than a human eye can
Thanks Alex and Dan
Heh….i’m making a comment mid listening as requested !….by the way fantastic podcast !….just listening to Virgin Atlantic,…. Still remembered flying across the pond on a brand new Virgin A340 ……circled Boston for ages because of snow storm….but own screens, no cinema screens and playing computer games…..but took the full flight how to start a game !
Oops forgot to say over 30 years ago
Did enjoy the ferocity of “completely pathetic” !
Red eye is so bad it’ll make you laugh Alex
FYI, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport has had the new scanner technology for years. I was told by security not to empty my 1L reusable water bottle and place it in my hand luggage. Couldn’t believe it but it went through with no issue. U.K., it’s time to get your act together.
Would be great if Manchester were to get more virgin flights, build a clubhouse etc
I would Hope their is a market for improved longues at Manchester!!
Too much UK stuff...
