Hi Nicole, the little wooden pieces are bowl/orb stands. The piggie is an appetizer/cheese holder. The holes are for the toothpicks that hold your appetizer/cheese. Those Spode plates are gorgeous!
That was the nicest thrift store I have seen in a long time. There were such good quality items. Every thrift store near me is like the Goodwill bins, but in the store on shelves. Broken junk, disorganized, old inventory that's been there for months....that store was so impressive!
What you have is a hanukiah. It's for Hanukkah. It has nine candle spaces. A menorah has space for seven. Menorah can be used daily. Hanukiah are for the right days of Hanukkah. Yours is beautiful.
I look forward to your thrifting. Never mind anyone who doesn't like you mentioninng your shop. You do you, your good at it. Thank you for sharing your time with us.❤ From Alaska🤩
Hi Nicole I really liked the alabaster boxes and I had no idea that you were not supposed to keep them in the bathroom. I have a small one in there right now which I will remove. I also liked the framed maple leaf, so pretty. Take care and have a good week!
I am crazy about looking at all the dishes, plates and etc, which is rather ironic since every night I eat on paper plates or paper bowls! Lol The little Chinese figure toothpicks were made to pick up small finger foods, like at parties, instead of using your grubby fingers! ✌🏼❤️
Such fun thrifting. All the prices at my thrifty stores in Rockport, Texas have gone up. I lived in Hopkins, MN in the mid 1980s in an apartment above Bud's Music on Main Street. Keep thrifting!!❤
Three brands developed by Corning Glass Works during the 20th century - Pyrex, Corning Ware and Corelle - became household names that revolutionized American kitchens and endured decades of changing consumer tastes and expectations. All the same company under Corning Glass Works.
those apple S& P shakers were soo cute. they would be good at your booth for fall. I'm always looking for cute ones for my collection in antique stores and thrift stores. you can say the pink elephant any time.. doesn't bother me.. LOL I hope you could video when you craft the knit pumpkins. that's a cute shirt too! OMG you scared me when you flipped the bird... ha ha ha .. I had to.
You brightened my day and gave me a laugh when you “chucked” the chick. 😂 Something I would’ve done, but it would’ve probably broken. 😂 Thanks for the video. 💕
The antique wooden spool at 11:26 was nice … they’re expensive here in antique stores. I have one of the little wooden stands which you thought at first was a puzzle. I use it to hold various items and right now it is holding a pumpkin!
Hi Nicole, birthday candles are not usually recommended for a menorah. Menorah candles are supposed to burn for a minimum of 30 minutes and birthday candles burn much quicker than this. There are mini Hanukkah candles available for sale on Amazon that might fit the menorah you have.
Not surprising that you get Corning and Corelle mixed up because Corning originally made Corelle back in the 1970's. Now Corelle Brands is owned by another maker (they also manufacture Pyrex now).
Observant Jewish families who keep Kosher in the home will generally purchase candles that are certified Kosher for Shabbat and the holidays. Households that do not keep Kosher can purchase generic candles for Shabbat menorahs (the ones with 7 branches and are lighted weekly for Shabbat), and Hanukkah menorahs (also called Hanukkiyahs) which have 9 branches and are lighted each of the 8 nights of Hanukkah. The raise d holder in the middle of both types of menorahs is the “host” candle. It is lighted first, and then used to light the other candles. I’m so glad that the birthday candles fit the Hanukkah menorah - I was pretty sure they would. Shabbat candles are generally white or ivory. Since Hanukkah is not a high holy day, many people use white and blue candles in the Hanukkiyah, or candles of any color(s) they choose.
Hanukkah candles are supposed to burn for a min. of 30 minutes and birthday candles don't meet this requirement as they burn rather quickly. However, there are mini Hanukkah candles for sale that fit in smaller menorahs.
The older I get the more I drop things. They just fly out of my hands just as that item did for you. Then there are the things I brush by and knock onto the floor. I feel sorry for the person who lives in the apartment underneath me.😬😬
Hello Nicole, maybe the cute little Robin container was for holding toothpicks. I'm guessing the pig could also be for holding toothpicks. I googled, and it said, any color candle could be used in the menorah. Your hair cut looks so cute on you.
Oh I would have grabbed the insulators. The ducks were sooooo cute! I found one the other day thrifting and they wanted 12.99 for it so of course I passed
lol, glad you didn’t break the adorable little duck, those are my favorite of your haul. How is Molly doing and how are you doing with her so far away?
Goodwills in Toms River area as expensive as my others were ugh. Determined to get my son a tv stand and shelves. And I’m searching for dining room chairs since mine from Christmas Tree Shops (rest in peace) have wobbly legs 😮
I used to love Christmas Tree Shops. Then they started selling less decor. Then it got really random lol. Hope you find what you need at a thrift somewhere!

Yes, Nicole. Early bedtime for you girl! Those duckies are too cute….. Good luck with your knitting!
If you remember, it would be great to see the knit pumpkins when you finish them 🎃

You can buy birthday candles larger than the ones you bought. I bet they would work .

Oh fascinating! Thank you for the info!
Oh, just put a little votive candle in that Robin votive holder! So cute! Or paper clips on your desk, jewelry on your dresser or bathroom vanity.
My favorite thing is the knitted pumpkin kit. Now I’m going to have to look for one.😊
Thank you Nicole, I have “butter fingers “ too…🤣😂

The pig with the holes, I believe is a toothpick holder.

I’m really enjoying it!
Love how you displayed it@@NicoleNorthgarden
I actually taught myself to crochet some pumpkins. I watched a tutorial on RUclips, and they made it super simple to do!
I cannot believe the duck didn't break! You sent it flying. Phew! Lol.
I really did 😂😂😂
The candles are fine for the Hannukiah m

@@NicoleNorthgarden It does … this summer I had a bird’s nest & eggs on it and at Easter I had a large decorated egg on it … so many uses! 💕
I think the tiny wooden people are birthday candle holders, they have a little hole on top of their heads. Love your videos!

Great video ❤ So glad you didn't break your duckie, but your face was priceless 😅
😂😂😂
I had all the Folk Art by Pfaltzgraff when I first got married in 1989. Even the matching Christmas ornaments 😃
Neat!
Artist's name on pot with bears looked like Shannon. And yup, they were decorative bowl/orb holders.
The piggy was an appetizer holder. And you guess of a bowl holder was right would be great for dips
😂LOL Nicole! Play that part back in slow motion - you’ll die! Haha
I am so thankful it didn’t break! That would NOT be a laughing matter!
😂😂😂
Pfaltzgraff Folk Art. That's what I also collect.

Your music is much nicer 🙂
😊👍👋
Your best find is the wonderful, colorful bowl it does have such a Native American vibe. I would keep it or possibly give it as a gift!
You can actually use any color candle in a Menorah.
Great to know!
Lollll love when u dropped the ducks!! That’s me!! Hubby keeps saying somethings wrong with u Diane!! I’m like no Dave I’m just a klutz
😂😂😂
Hi Nicole 💓 the witch nut cracker is so cute thanks for sharing always Laura from Arizona

I think the little people toothpick things could be cupcake toppers
I have a dishes problem.... my weakness not so much plates but bowls! Well maybe blue and white plates😬 Your T-shirt!!! ❤❤
Thank you!
Hi! You should buy the brown transfer ware plates. I love them! Buy them and I will buy from you!!!!!

Butter fingers 😆
The menorah candles can be any color. You just don’t put them in all at one time. The Hanukkah colors are white, blue and silver.
Thank you for the info!
Pigwith holes is for appetizers!😊
Now I wish I bought it!!
Corning makes Corelle, so it’s all good!
That makes sense why they look so similar lol! Thanks for the info!

The pig is a serving piece for food on toothpicks.
Well now I wish I had gone then it because that would be a fun serving piece!
lol, glad you didn’t break the adorable little duck, those are my favorite of your haul. How is Molly doing and how are you doing with her so far away?

You need No Make Up. Be natural, beautiful. As you are. People wear tattoos to cover up what God created. No make up, tattoos, wigs, etc. 🥰
