I just have the urge to hurt them as much as possible. I have a bad habit of using the maximum damage combos instead of focusing on style but my dodge game is perfect. I wish I could perform the parry properly and some of the taunts. Like the BP taunt.
Okay so honest advice: I played DMC 2 and 3 but could never beat them cuz I was a kid, but loved them(and ninja gaiden if it matters but I managed to beat that). Finished ff16 which I believe is canonically Dante’s cousin on easy mode. I liked action rpg’s and some hack and slash and fighting games like mk. I can ignore a terrible and incoherent story if the gameplay is fun…I kinda want to try the new dmc especially to play as Vergil but also don’t want to waste what little free time I have if I hate it…suggestions please?
dmc5 is the easiest dmc not counting dmc2, enemies are not a treat even in DMD, Dmc3 and 1 are really challenging overall, and ninja gaiden gets tough in master ninja, ninja gaiden 2(xbox version)in master ninja blows of the water all dmcs by a mile in difficult

This maybe a dumb question but how do you do the judgement cut end cause the one I apparently have says I have to have use up my super demon bar to do it or is that an entirely different one?
The top (above health) bar is concentration which you need 2 notches/bars of. The blue below health is SDT Gauge which needs to be completely full. If those conditions are met you must use Lock-on + Forward (wherever Vergil is facing) + melee attack + Air Trick/teleport to enemy

0:16 How do you pull off the rapid slash after dopplehanger without having the pause animation? No matter what I do, it seems to always have the animation.
I've tried to immediately do the rapid slash as soon as I hit the button doppleganger summon (I'm on Xbox so I'm using right dpad or left bumper) but the animation still plays out. Is there a small time frame in which I can do it or am I not doing something right?

Default controls, the delay is determined by pause combos, and i did it without turbo mode (because I was on ps4 at the time)

You set enemy action on in the enemy settings and melee with perfect timing ti parry the attack
When I taunt at the end it's always a different taunt even though I have sss and mirage edge equipped
