I was in this crowd, will never forget it... PJH ❤ Glasto '95
The '90s were great for music, concerts/festivals, movies...and no social media.
I miss the 90's... this is about as sexy as it gets. All around genius.
Thats a strong look
Absolutely Magnificent As P J Harvey as always have been throughout, Fantastic Outstanding Performance, Thank you for sharing to be able to watch it again
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Andy.
Her shows were always a good craic
I remember sitting on the hill watching this amazing show.
Had a picture of Polly from this performance pinned to my bedroom wall for years & she’s still absolutely amazing 👏
Thanks so much for sharing 😎🤘👍
Thanks for watching and commenting Adam.
What a boring song.
PJ Harvey Amazes Me! Iove her ability to go from different style Album to Album! Plus when she performed this on Jools holland it Blew Me Away!
I was there. :-) This was early evening I think, a perfect time for the set in my opinion.
I love 💗 PJ, I love her songs, I love her voice, love this outfit and I love this video!
Thanks for watching and commenting Jade
This outfit couldn't have been more iconic, she slayyyyyyed
My absolutely favorite artist over 30 years..
PJ Lots of empathy and a great sensual charge. One of a kind a visceral power from her eyes to her body and a voice that digs into the soul. Infinite love 💥
I was at this gig. SMMMUUUGGGNESSS!!!
I know I’m in the minority on this, but lordy Polly is so much better when she’s playing guitar, LOUD. Her hired guns never played her guitar parts as well as she does. This tour, and this performance, is all style… I guess that’s highly appealing to people, though.
Yeah is so dificult to do simple power chords !
@@gvibes69 She's got an inimitable strumming style.
I also prefer her on guitar, specially on the title track off of this album. But I personally appreciate her character work on this tour too and think the concept behind it was very cool (electrifying at moments).
Agreed. All the times I’ve seen her live over the years the dry/ rid of me era was the best when she played guitar within the trio 👍 everything since has been a triumph of style over substance unfortunately 😬
Brilliant.
Thank you.
Glad you liked it Edward!
Absolutely brilliant.
Wonderful👏🏻👏🏻
POLLY!!! Cheers Steevee! 😁
You are most welcome Vic
Fantastic live act
Always a pleasure.
I was at glasto in 95,hottest weekend ever!!
I do know much about her band but she seems pretty relaxed up there with them. That crowd is massive!
What a Woman
I was there… 😊
I love you pj... I'll always love you
Another great video! I'm getting an early Peter Gabriel with Genesis vibe from this one. Well if Peter Gabriel was a beautiful woman LOL!
This was her performance peak this era right here
"Sorry guys, we can't play 'Down by the water' tonight.... I forgot to bring my paintbrush."
Thanks for the upload, can I ask you what is or are the other songs you have on video from this concert?
Hi, do you have the full concert link google drive or mega..?
Is that Joe Gore on Guitar? (he’s amazing!)
Yes
does she play long snake moan at this show? great video and sound!
2:44 whoever directed this certainly knows where beauty really lies
any link to the full concert without compression?
Nope, there is no full version on YT
What is the title of the second song?
Send His Love To Me
@@mindtpi thanks
I know she's been around for over thirty years and has a devoted fan base. Somebody please explain the appeal to me; I don't detect anything in the music, lyrics, or musicianship. This is a sincere question as I became curious after hearing multiple interviewers ask the brilliant Annie Clark if she considers PJ Harvey an influence.
I guess she's not your cup of tea, and taste is subjective. St. Vicent doesn't appeal to me as much, but PJ Harvey does. Why Polly has a decent following may require a more complex explanation other than personal taste. What I personally detect in her music is emotion, versatility, good musicianship, great atmospheres, intriguing lyrics.
She's a great storyteller
I think she's overrated. People like to like her because she's enigmatic and strange.
Image. Purely image. Indie posturing at its finest. Can't sing, her lyrics are angsty doggeral worthy of Billie Eilish, but she looks damn good in a pink catsuit, of course worn "ironically" to distinguish her from Britney Spears wearing much the same outfit
That rings true!@@cygil1
Where’s nick?
He was backstage, in a huff, after PJ insisted they wear matching pink jumpsuits.😆
@@ScottishTeeVee lol too funny
Another Lady In The Radiator
Can tell who her idol is… Patti smith
;)
Alright, who among you gave Joan Crawford the acid ?
Thus was last time i ever went to Glastonbry
:42 🙎😄 & 1:44 😁
that you?
I don't understand the first song at all. Nothing about it I understand. WTF? Bit it's cool.
Not nice!
What's wrong?
A very talented and charismatic performer but I could never get past the fake thick American accent she sings with. I mean most British singers try to sound American, but they don't usually go "full twang".
Is she packing a rod???
Likely just fototage distortion 😂😅
PJ is a man.
