Hi. Just wanted to say that I got a pair of these based on your reviews and I’m very happy with them. Thanks. Lots of great tips here. Especially turning off ANC and Surround Sense to cut the wind noise and extend battery life. Thanks. 👍
Great stuff! Coming from OG AirPods. Those things fall out of my head with a strong breeze, drop of sweat all while on a light run that turns into me fumbling worse than Aaron Hernandez. Very excited. Might do a review of the switch.
One thing i wish these earbuds had, is wings that go over/around your ear. They do fit really well. But my ears a bit weird shaped, so the left side sort of gets pushed out after a while. Regardless of what fit i choose.
Just ordered my Vista 2s from Jaybird. Comes with some sort of Launch Kit which is free until quantities are gone. Don't know what's included in Launch Kit. Hopefully will receive in couple of days as expedited shipping was also free. Wanted to get extended warranty but it wasn't available at time ordered because of issues on website... All Documentation is online including full User Guide which can be downloaded...
@@ClintGibbs Thanks... I guess that's wireless pad with Jaybird logo on it I see reviewers demonstrating on RUclips... I don't think they're selling that as accessory yet... Checked website & don't see that as accessory now. Maybe once all Launch Kits are gone, they'll start selling wireless charging pad... Does it come with Charger that can be plugged into AC? Or I have to use my AC USB charger, then connect usb cable to usb charger & other end of cable to wireless charging pad? Thanks again...
I just bought the old jaybird Vista earphones. I had to send them back because none of the silicone tips fit my ears. They were all too large even though I usually use medium tips on other earphones. Also I disliked that the case didn't open very far. Now I'm still looking for new earphones.
Hi Clint, Thank you for the review! On the Jaybird website itself, users report connectivity issues, sound interference, and buds dying after several months of usage. Mostly, they say that Vista 1 is more convenient for quickly switching from one device to another. What's your experience with it?
Good things to also mention is that these earbuds have physical buttons(as far as I have understand). For me the touch control is not very well. The secure fit with the jaybirds is so important. I ownened the jaybird run for some years ago. And I was very happy except the easter egg case. They got stolen so I buy the jbl 300 earbuds. The fit was not good, wich I realized is so important. Now I want to go back to jaybird vista 2 for a secure fit and physical buttons
if I recall correctly there have been at least one or two updates. I haven’t really noticed a change in the active noise canceling but to be honest I haven’t paid much attention to any differences. Still working great for me.
Jaybird Vista practically never came out of my ears whether I'm violently shaking head side to side, up & down to demonstrate to someone how secure they are or whether working out in gym in any position: * straight up vertically * on incline or decline * on sides horizontally * hanging from bar upside down I wear them practically everywhere & one of my most favorite places to wear them is to dentist office to drown out dentist tools high pitch whining... I would tell dentist to tap me on shoulder if need to get my attention then I'd pause music... With Vista 2s I'll be able to double tap to go into surround sense mode & can hear more clearly what dentist is saying without having to remove one of the earbuds... Same applies when listening to anything with both earbuds & someone wants talk I can double tap to hear them without taking out one earbud...
Do they actually sound better, in terms of bass etc, do they have that thumping bass, as the first generation had, I’ve seen multiple reviews comparing the two, and they say the first generation actually sound better?
I actually don't notice much of a sound difference between the first and second generation. I actually find the bass to be plenty strong, and you can adjust it with the equalizer in the app. It's really the feature enhancements of the second generation that makes the V2 better.
Talking with someone on the phone on windy conditions. How is the phone quality on the other end? You mentioned of jogging fast or cycling, but how about this case?
Any problems with long bike rides and vibrations slowly making them fall out? All bud types seem to vibrate out of my ears and I'm constantly readjusting them which is a pain.
I own the Jaybird Vista V1, really like it for listening to songs/videos, but it's terrible for video conferences... It uses a different codec when the microphone is enabled, which degrades the audio quality a lot - feels like you're listening a 16kHz mp3, and the microphone quality is also bad - so I changed my computer settings to only use the Vista for output, and I use the built-in microphone for input (which sounds way better). Do you know if this was improved on the V2?
Do the buds and case have a rubberrized finish & coating? I live in the tropics and for some reason, the rubberrized coating from my devices tend to come off and become sticky after some time because of the heat and humidity.
Are the Vista 2 ear buds the same size as the original? I found the part on the the original Vista ear buds that protrudes into your ear was too big and uncomfortable for me. Thanks!
@@ska042 ive had both and the Jay bird buds failed in the first year..Im running something very similar for a fraction of the price and they are working well and so far have lasted longer.. .Ear buds are not rocket science to make so i believe the brand name stuff is over priced.
Too bad they don't work. Before you buy the Vista 2 search the existing issue (since the vista 1 and now 2) where one of the earbuds will not play any sound or play it very quietly, no amount or type of reset fix this. If you decide to take the plunge and buy them then do it from a near by retailer or Amazon as you might need to return them and Jaybird customer service is bad at this.
I've never owned a pair of Beats headphones but I've demoed some. The sound is okay but not balanced at all. They're very heavy on base and the sound, in my opinion, is not worth what you pay. Granted that was a few years ago said they may have improved.

Stoked you're a fan, Clint! Thanks for the review. :)
I bought the first version of the jay bird vistas because of your video. I do love them! I guess I need the vista 2 now! Keep up the great videos!
Again another brilliant review. I’ll certainly be buying a pair of those when they are available in the UK

Great review. Your review of the original Vista's are what got me to get them. Not disappointed at all.
Excellent review, thanks. Convinced me to upgrade from my original Vistas.
Good Review.
Like way you showed screens in app for each of features & functions you were describing...
Very useful & informative...
Thanks sharing...
thank you for the review. The delay for watching videos was the missing piece 😄
Thank you so much for making this video because i was just considering buying the original jaybird Vistas
Thanks for the great review. Subscribed.
Great review..always looking for the next pair for when my current ones bite the dust.
i knew it you gonna buy it and review 👀

If you ever used the Liberty 3 Pros how does the volume and bass compare with the Vista 2's?

I switch between my iPad and my Pixel 5 phone and don't recall having any issues. So far so good. No sound interference either.
It is sad. Jaybird told me Vista 2 is not available in Australia.

has there been a recent firmware update? do you notice a change in sound quality with ANC on?

Does having the ANC on help with phone call quality on the other end?

It is a great earbud. But when I bike, it gives huge wind noise because of the shape of the earbud, which is very disappointing.
SOLD!!!
How would you compare these to the powerbeats pro. As far as sound quality and bass
Do they actually sound better, in terms of bass etc, do they have that thumping bass, as the first generation had, I’ve seen multiple reviews comparing the two, and they say the first generation actually sound better?

Jaybird website says ip68 🤔
Talking with someone on the phone on windy conditions. How is the phone quality on the other end? You mentioned of jogging fast or cycling, but how about this case?
Not great in the wind for phone calls. I haven't found any earphones that are good for this.
Out of my budget, i usually pick up the $20 Amazon special then lose em in a month or two. Good luck people.
Any problems with long bike rides and vibrations slowly making them fall out? All bud types seem to vibrate out of my ears and I'm constantly readjusting them which is a pain.
No, these stay in my ears very well. Honestly, the more I sweat the better they stay put.
How do they compare to the SoundCore Liberty pro’s that I bought on your recommendation?
SoundCore have clearer sound, but they are not sweat proof. Dynamic drivers + balanced armature will usually win every time.

I'm not sure. I would have to test. I do know they've added microphones so maybe that will help.
Great Review my dude! Also, how does someone downvote this video lol? Some people are just dicks for no reason.
Yup
Do the buds and case have a rubberrized finish & coating? I live in the tropics and for some reason, the rubberrized coating from my devices tend to come off and become sticky after some time because of the heat and humidity.
Only the replaceable ear gels are rubberized.

Same size
Are the buttons still hard to press?
No, but it does put slight pressure on your ears when pressing them.
These are crap. Major pairing issues.
Why pay all that cash out for the Jay bird buds when you can get something like them way cheaper. .plain and simple over priced brand name rip off...
