I use Wordpress and to create funnels for restaurants and I've been exploring the idea of using WooCommerce to create a complete restaurant online ordering platform that is easy to use for customers and easy to manage for restaurant staff.
In this video, I explore what free plugins are available to let the customer choose a date and time for pickup.
The plugin that worked the best wasn't the perfect plugin, but it works for what most restaurants needs, and best of all its free!

Hello, thank you so much for the video, i just want to know, how will the restaurant know that there is an order ? By email or by an application on phone or tablet, and can the restaurant stuff confirm the order and let the client know when it is ready by an sms ?
Can we do that in woocommerce

Yes you can do that in WooCommerce. Out of the box, WooCommerce can send an email to the restaurant to let them know that they got a new order. If you have a tablet (or any device) for the restaurant, you can keep your email open so that the restaurant staff can be notified when new orders come in. Some restaurants that I set this up for also have the new order emails going to multiple staff members so that they all get notified.
The restaurant can also let the customer know when the order is ready by changing the order status from Processing to Completed. When a customer places an order, the order is already set to Processing. When the restaurant changes the order status from Processing to Completed, the customer automatically receives an email that the order is complete.

can I add a specific pickup date to any of these options? for example, they can order any number of days in advance but pickup is only for December 24, 2020 and then they can select their specific time slot?

Hi! I believe that feature is available in their pro version. You can see an example of how it works in the "Date Setting" tab of the plugin. It is in the "Special Delivery/Pickup Dates" sectoin.

I'm looking for a plug-in that has a multi location pick-up and option to dine in would this plug-in fullfil that need?

The free version of this plugin can do up to 2 locations. The paid version can do unlimited I believe. If you have your WooCommerce set up correctly, you can give them the link to your ordering page and they can order from anywhere, including inside the restaurant.
You would also want to think about adding the table # or identifier in the checkout field so you know which table is ordering which food.
