Bro, no matter what Jim’s dad is probably the parent we all need like no matter what antics he gets into he doesn’t judge him. He may be a little disappointed, but he doesn’t bash his son. He doesn’t scold him. He is always in his corner because no matter how big Jim gets no matter where he goes in life no matter what he does he will always be his son and I think that his dad keeps it in the forefront of his mind
I used to say this to my friends because they all used to bash him saying they'd "hate a Dad like that"... Now fast forward to the present time 15 years later and they all agree he would of been an awesome Dad. Maybe a little embarrassing here and there, but it's not like Jim helps himself as he's the one getting himself into awkward situations like with the Pie or with the Glue...
It isn't a messed up VHS tape. Some pay-TV channels showed porn, but they were scrambled, and you couldn't see them unless you had a converter. If you tried to watch them without a converter, you would generally get the audio, but the video would be a scrambled.
More accurately, they would keep the signal or image scrambled unless you paid for that program. The technical terms I don't know but I know that what old school analog was before digital. Now with digital and such, they just block the signal of the show and open it when you pay for the pay-per-view

This is one of the franchises where every movie is good. American Pie 2 is hilarious, I honestly think Wedding is the best, and Reunion is really solid as well. I don't count the other spin-offs as part of the franchise though because they have very little to do with any characters or anything.
