no tests, just learning and demonstrations :)

Than you for sharing! I have my FNP immersion weekend for Chamberlain this December! Did the school tell you in advance which hotel room to stay in to be close by the immersion classes? Thanks!
I actually stayed in Q Center itself since it's actually far from DT Chicago/Airport, around 45 mins away.
I'm so glad you posted this, I got to immersion after this session and I am super nervous. Do I come in on Friday or do I need to leave earlier?
I remember I came in to Q center a day earlier :)
Do we have to test out of any skills? Like, are they going to watch us and give us a pass/fail? Same as skills day in undergrad? I'm so nervous because I have Immersion weekend next term and they have given us exactly ZERO information as far as what to expect, what to do, where to go or even dates. I'm STRESSING!
Dont's stress out! They'll be sending out an email with all the details. As for the skills, they will not be grading a pass/fail but we are all required to perform the skills on each station and it is scheduled/timed accordingly. Tbh, it's a relatively 'light' activity.

Hi! Did they require purchasing a white lab coat before immersion weekend?
hello! Actually, the only instance I used the while lab coat was during the physical exam :) other than that, you can wear smart casual during the immersion.

Yup, they did!
With the pap you supposed to have real person not a dummy!!! As well as how to check the prostate supposed to be REAL PERSON...Never practice on a dummy...
we have all the time for that during our clinical rotations!
Love this video. I’ll be going this year. Did you buy the suturing kit there on the premise or buy it before the immersion.?
