This video also so clearly explained a question I had (coming from marching band to kit drumming) about the difference between moeller method and doubles. You showed it perfectly: moeller (lift wrist), doubles (close hand with fingers). Thank you!!
I am a late starter i play guitar and started on drums , but with diabetes i have bad peripheral nerve damage, i can play basic stuff but have trouble with left hand ,weakness can you advize ,, on exercises.. also ruffs…. Love you channel and your brilliant Humor.
Emma, you're awesome! Not just as a drummer, but as a teacher! At least for me, a self taught mess (most times). What a boon to the drumming community!! I'm also a faithful follower as well - I love the humour too. 😁
Hi Emma, love your style of teaching and you are an amazing player. I've only been playing a few weeks on my Alesis Nitro Max kit. I am left handed, but learning to play using right hand technique. Thanks for all your videos.
As a former educator of 24 years, always suspicious of people who say something' is 'easy'. It is when you know it. Likewise saying something's 'tricky' equally sets up a fail, at least to start with.

it really helps the way you break it down slowly and build up. And you teach us to do that. Thank you.
