It's so easy to make peas tasty that there's no excuse of bad peas. Can also try throwing in some soy sauce, fish sauce, mirin, sugar, MSG, chopped onions, or some mix of spices from the cupboard.
I do peas in sauce , I fry an onion throw the peas in pepper and salt to taste then pasata sauce then cover with water cook till peas are aldente then eat
Maybe if I add chicken broth it would be recipe I’m looking, that was serve at a church breakfast with bread. But I’m sure the church cook add only water & it was very good.
Billion dollar insight - Cookery Kaizen. Use small pot base as modified mallet to bang bag of frozen peas to break it apart. Put water in pot to boil. Pour peas from bag into same mallet pot to cook.
Peas are so under rated, I love them. I even willingly choose them as a midnight snack when I’m home alone!
