  • I've seen some people being confused about how to correctly install the lumbar support strap on a Playseat Trophy, since the instructions don't show how to do it. So here's a quick video that shows you how to do it.
Plus I show you an easy trick to make the lumbar support work event better, if you're having back pain while driving.

I don't have much problem with the lumbar support, but the seat is bothering me from day one. I am not really a big guy (182/81), but I feel the seat isn't wide enough, it is physically wide enough, but the stitchings on either side are kind of squeeze me. I tried to lower or raise the seat but still cannot get comfortable.

What a smart idea! Can vouch that I did this on mine as well and it's pretty amazing improvement!. Have tried any others mods, adjustments? I'm looking into locating some material to improve the padding for the head bar frame cushion. I'm 6'3" and the back of my head does hit the back of that bar at times.

Glad to hear this was a useful mod! I haven't done any other mods to the rig. But I do have the same problem of the back of my head touching the top bar of the seat. Although I haven't found it to be too uncomfortable, so I haven't done anything about it.

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions and the tip on the towel. Seat is much better now with the support.
I am wondering which size tv are you using on your setup?

Great video. What are your pedal 'settings' like the 1,2,3,4,5 the sloth combination with the a and b ? I am also suffering from lower back pain but your seat angle (more leaning back) and pedal angle seem way different.

Hey I'm glad this was useful!
I have the pedal tray in the holes A and 5. But I do like my pedals to be quite upright and for reference I have the Moza SR-P pedals. Depending on what pedals you have, you might just have to experiment to find out what feels good.
I checked and I seem to have around 6 or 7 degree tilt on the back rest when measuring from the headrest area where the playseat logo is.
You should also try to slide the lumbar strap up and down to see , if a different position prevents back pain. I've noticed that I have to move it a bit up or down from time to time.

Is there any reason to buy the logitech version over this one, apart from a different theme/look?

Not that I know of. Functionally they should be the same. Only difference is the paint finish, which on the Logitech edition is glossy. The glossy paint might be more durable than the powder coated/matte finish on the black version. For example I’ve managed to scratch mine with a vacuum while cleaning it.
But remember, I don’t have firsthand experience with the Logitech version. I’m basing this on other reviews I’ve seen.

Have same issue with back pain....have same MOZA setup, maybe the strap position is crucial it this case, when you press hard on brake pedal...

Just buy playseat with chair it's more worth it then this cheap seat with high price. I suggest you buy playseat GT Track next level racing, or GT Omega 3

Can't get GT Omega in Australia.@@vtg1800people don't understand that we need the Playseat Trophy in the market for it's movability and capability to have 12Nm and load cell brakes.
