I wish I could sponsor, I love this channel, but the economic situation in my country is killing me. I'm facing food insecurity, I can only afford to eat one meal a day. I'm an American man and I love cooking shows.. every time I watch this one I make sure to have a pen and paper handy to write down ingredients and stuff. Every time though, the only thing I ever write down is "One nice Ukrainian woman". ❤ 🇺🇸
It would be far more helpful to present these stories and videos in a more transparent and honest way - especially if you wish to ask for support. I have zero doubt that Nadya is an amazing person doing amazing things at an amazing place. In fact, the Carpathians is an amazing journey that I'd encourage everyone to take. I visited the Carpathians just this last May, and it's an absolutely transformative experience. What Nadya is doing, as is everyone else you video, is a truly authentic thing. But none of these people are doing it alone! They're not solitary people living a life in some idyllic hermitage. They have families. They have help. And some of them have managed to make their experience a commercial operation. My host in Vorokhta does the exact same things - and is supported by a husband and child. Rents out rooms in their bnb. And it was an absolutely wonderful experience - authentically presented as it is. You will convince more people to support the Ukrainian experience and cause when you truthfully and authentically present what and how they are doing what they are doing. Yes I released that quite early on, I wondered if the income from the videos was to help support war damaged families or if it was direct fund raising for the protection of Ukraine? Either way I'm fine and I do enjoy seeing the scenery and way of life even if it is a bit 'staged'

Having been there myself, I can say, from firsthand experience, that such a story is less than truthful and honest. It's not for me to be their video editor or creator, but please represent them and their story as it is. It might encourage more westerners to visit them and stay at their bnbs. The Carpathians is an absolutely wonderful place ❤️
Гарна дівчина з чудового закарпатського краю. А якій дім, з якого дерева побудований! Там мабуть за років 60-80 запах дерева держиться. Війна, бачимо, навіть до її села чи хутору дійшла - світло відключено, вода бежить потроху. Мангали та сковороди з дисків борони - це спасіння для багатьох українців. Добре, що побачила, як дівчина смажить чеснок в маслі з м'ясом, треба буде так готувати. Життя в таких селах наче не міняється, багато чого й не треба, але все ж таки щось з зовнішнього світу приходить та нагадує про новий час, в чому цінисть таких моментів життя. Дякую за відео! I like your work, subject matter, and so on... What I don't like is your lies about them doing it alone. While some will fall for the scent of a single woman dream, I have been married 21 years and live off the land and make my way without dependency on the world as much as I can. But so many of your subjects and film work shows to much and they are not alone as you say. In Europe, so often they wear their wedding bands on their right hands, unlike western countries. Nadya had a wedding band on in one of your past videos.
Both Nadya and Katya are married, their husbands are away at war and have been since the start of the war. I think that's what they mean by the women being alone or lonely, they miss their husbands and are without them. Also it could be a translation issue trying to explain in English when they only speak Ukranian, translator apps often give the wrong words when translating a Cyrillic alphabet language into the English language which is not Cyrillic. You are right though, they definitely aren't alone, Nadya has kids, Katya has a child and grandmother. I know all of them are religious so some might have a church family or pastor, Maria has gone to church in a couple videos. I've seen neighbors helping the women in videos too (except for Nadya, I think she's the only one who hasn't had neighbors in videos). I imagine its hard for the women to have their husbands, brothers and possibly uncles and/or fathers away, fighting for their country. I think that's why Nadya looks sad a lot.

This is an unusual version of "strudel". Usually, strudels of all sorts (there are many recipes in Central and Eastern Europe) are made with filo pastry, and are filled in with fruit, ground sweetened poppyseed, even sweetened, finely sliced cabbage. Have never seen a strudel first baked, then the baked sheet rolled up and filled in with what looks like crème pâtissière. Lovely countryside!
@hadelidell4285 Aa I understand it, Swiss roll is a sponge cake, and should not break. The product shown here may be very tasty but it looks like no Swiss roll I have ever seen. Which is why I called it a strudel (of sorts). Hope this explains things!

I like your work, subject matter, and so on... What I don't like is your lies about them doing it alone. While some will fall for the scent of a single woman dream, I have been married 21 years and live off the land and make my way without dependency on the world as much as I can. But so many of your subjects and film work shows to much and they are not alone as you say.
In Europe, so often they wear their wedding bands on their right hands, unlike western countries. Nadya had a wedding band on in one of your past videos.
Both Nadya and Katya are married, their husbands are away at war and have been since the start of the war. I think that's what they mean by the women being alone or lonely, they miss their husbands and are without them. Also it could be a translation issue trying to explain in English when they only speak Ukranian, translator apps often give the wrong words when translating a Cyrillic alphabet language into the English language which is not Cyrillic.
You are right though, they definitely aren't alone, Nadya has kids, Katya has a child and grandmother. I know all of them are religious so some might have a church family or pastor, Maria has gone to church in a couple videos. I've seen neighbors helping the women in videos too (except for Nadya, I think she's the only one who hasn't had neighbors in videos).
I imagine its hard for the women to have their husbands, brothers and possibly uncles and/or fathers away, fighting for their country. I think that's why Nadya looks sad a lot.

This is an unusual version of "strudel". Usually, strudels of all sorts (there are many recipes in Central and Eastern Europe) are made with filo pastry, and are filled in with fruit, ground sweetened poppyseed, even sweetened, finely sliced cabbage. Have never seen a strudel first baked, then the baked sheet rolled up and filled in with what looks like crème pâtissière. Lovely countryside!
It's not a strudel but a cake roll. Also know as Swiss roll

Aa I understand it, Swiss roll is a sponge cake, and should not break. The product shown here may be very tasty but it looks like no Swiss roll I have ever seen. Which is why I called it a strudel (of sorts). Hope this explains things!
