Cabin bag 7kg. Handbag no one checks weight. Yes handbag is allowed

I am having a same flight just confuse with the luggage for handbag
That Am I allowed carry medium bag as a cabin bag in order to carry about 23kg in cabin as airlines mentioned.
Medium trolly bag is a middle bag a 3 bags set generally other airlines only allow the small bag of that 3 bags so I just feel bit confuse.
I'll tell u about my experience. So u can have a clear idea.
I carried total 5 bags. 3 in Checked baggage (i paid extra for 1 extra bag).
I carried 2 in cabin. 1 was 7 kg (they did not even check the weight). Other was a laptop bag(again they did not check the weight)
So u can carry 2 in cabin. 1 of 7 kg and 1 laptop bag and there is no limit mentioned but try to keep it below 7 or 8 both cabin bags to be on a safer side

Yes u will have too. Once you get down you they will inform you on the airport where to go. Once u go through security you need to come back on T5. Do all this quickly

You can carry without laptop.. i did not had laptop.

British airways policy says that i can carry laptop bag with the dimension 40cm×30cm×15cm. It is impossible to have a laptop bag under 40 cm
How did u manage to get ur laptop bag?
I did not even measure. Just took my normal laptop bag. No one checks cabin bags. Only security. Unless the bag is exceptionally big no one will bother

Yes i carried 2bags in cabin. I laptop bag (without laptop) and 1 cabin.

No only ur hand and cabin in Baggage that u have with you.. checkedin baggage will be moved by flight operators... you just have to quickly go to security check again and then back to ur terminal

@pavneetkaur629 i came 8 months ago no checking. My wife came in June, same no checking. Not sure maybe if it looks big they may check but i dont think a few centimetres here and there should be an issue

No you dont need a transit visa if there is canadian visa

I do not remember the gate number. But all of us had to go through the security check again so we had to go to other terminal for security and come back to terminal 3 or 5 i guess it was

You have to select the window seat as soon as check in opens. I did the same thing. Instead of paying. If you pay you will surely get it. If you dont pay there is no surety

Mostly you will not. But once check with airline to be clear.

You may need to rush to get to your terminal. As per my experience we need to go through security again. If you just rush as soon as you get down you may reach. Also there will be many people with you for same travel and all will need change terminals so dont worry just make sure to reach to other terminal asap
Bro do tell me, i have 2 tickets,
1 delhi 1 am to london Heathrow terminal 2 at 7:45 am british airways,
2 london Heathrow terminal 5 at 12 pm to Toronto air canada
These are 2 separate tickets, do i need uk transit visa or not
Transit visa is not required for UK if you have Canadian Visa so you are fine. I also had around 3 hours something layover. Only thing is change of terminal so you will have to go through security check once again. This will be time consuming. So u will get less time. My suggestion quickly reach terminal 5 first
Still check once on british airways website. For ur satisfaction

5 for arrival and departure. Is this manageable?
Should be i have friends who had similar times but they still managed.

Sure, for this flight i had an allowance of 2 23kg bags for check in, 1 7kg bag in cabin and 1 hand/laptop bag. I carried almost 2kg above my allowance of 23kgs and they let me.

I don’t know about duffle bags. Laptop bag and a purse or another small bag is allowed. Maybe they will allow duffle bag if its small. Ask at the checkin counter for clarity
