but why lol oil leak or somthing ?
Do you know if its the whole assembly that needs to be replaced for this modal? Or can i just replace the manifold runner control motor?
@@kimberlyfobbs2873 Good question. The control motor is replaceable. But the common issue with these is a broken runner. In that case you'll need the whole manifold.

6 months ago I had the injectors changed as well as the plugs after having had a misfire cyl 6. a few days later my check engine came on it was only then that I decided to buy an ODB scan tool the error that came out P200A is it possible that the mechanic when changing the injectors located under the manyfold that he could have damaged something? I wanted to thank you for your clear and concise training. I'm not a mechanic but at 50 I find the way you explain everything motivating.
I don't think it was something they did. These are known for intake runner failures. It's a bummer that it happened after they were in there because it would have been easy for them to change it then. You might be able to make a deal with them for a lower repair cost and see what they say.

Paid $900 to replace this thing, it was that day and this repair that inspired me to start doing my own! So far I’ve done oil, brakes, and I’m getting into suspension work now. Idk if I’m ready for engine yet, but I’m gonna keep on learning :) thank you for helping us common folk out! We really appreciate it ❤
@@thebayjay You're welcome! I wish you the best in your diy journey 🙂. One recommendation is to get a good torque wrench. The most common issue with fasteners is over tightening. My torque wrench is among the most used tools I have 👍
What problems were you having to make you replace the lower intake manifold? Bad intake runner actuator or broken runners?
It had a code for the intake runner. It's pretty common in this generation Kia and Hyundai.
