Agreed . But I am going to do without it .Perhaps it is not a thing anymore in the USA but in Europe Hans quipping . I am doing the German thing " I look good in a gas mask " on the exact anniversary of the start of the Nuremberg Trials which was a massive step in developing a jurisprudence of.... sorry lost the will to go on am unsubscribing from your channels .

@@richardb22 , given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic I took it as comment about that -- wear a mask to stop the spread of the virus. I did not know the significance of the date and thus his comment was innocuous to me because I do see people wearing gas masks with replaceable cartridge filters. However, on the flip side of the coin, are you profiling him because he's German? I understand this is a passionate subject but we must look before we jump to conclusions.

Recently looked into serving my 2001 Zenith El Primero Triple Calendar Moon Phase Chronometer. Brought it to a well respected watch dealer in Atlanta with several watch makers. They did not feel comfortable doing the service and recommended sending it back to Zenith. Hans was able to do the service on it and turned out great. Got it back in a few weeks instead of a few months and for several hundred dollars less than what Zenith was going to charge. Great job guys!! Highly recommend. Also Federico was great with communication!

Having someone like Hans on board builds your customer trust and goes a long way to separate you from the competition. I have purchased 2 watches from Delray and have no complaints. Something you might consider to further cement your customers loyalty is to note if a particular watch was serviced by Hans, especially if it is an older or vintage watch. Service history is always a huge question when purchasing a pre owned watch.

Thanks for your honesty guys! Watch servicing and repairing can be complex and most often is very, very time consuming. I used to think people like Hans could service a watch in a couple of hours. Now that I service and repair watches myself I’ve learned that what Hans do in a day takes me at least a week.

I would like to ask Hans what service interval would he recommend for brand new Zenith El Primero with cal. 400, which is a daily wear, taken into consideration it is a high-beat 5Hz movement. Just for the note, Zenith recommends 3 to 5 years interval, but usually manufacturers aim to get additional revenue for servicing costs.
