I sometimes hesitate to watch these Q & A videos. And then I'm always glad I did. Thank you for doing these.

      Why do you hesitate?

@@EDHBlvd A lot of Q & A videos I've watched (not Nicks') I've found I've either known the answers to the questions already or they're a bunch of silly questions, and I've wasted my time. I should remember that's not the case with Nicks' Q & A videos. 🙂

@@rickc4317 gotcha. I enjoy seeing/hearing some insights from the company. However I could see how a fellow boot nut may already know a lot about these things from following along.

Are there any plans of maybe opening a European dealership ? Or any other way to try on a Nicks boot in Europe more easily ? That would help greatly not only with sizing, but especially with trying out the more strongly arched lasts. Those are really uncommon over here so its hard to say if a 55 last for example will fit my foot without having to order a 600$ boot from the US, paying taxes and customs fees, only to find out that the stronger arch doesn't work at all. I'd really like to own a Nicks boot at one point, so having an opportunity to try it on in person would greatly help.

1620 and Nicks! You can't go wrong. 1620 customer service and repair department is amazing! Vibram and 1620 are in Mass. When is nicks making an appearance?

Just came across the Q&A videos yesterday. What you guys are talking about are questions that I've had. However, now that I've received my first pair I know my size for certain. So my current quandary is just figuring out what pair I want next. Those LL64's look so good!

Have you changed the way stitch soles? I recently received a pair of Prospectors and the sole stitches are MUCH longer than what I see on previous pairs of boots ordered within the past year.

I have the same problem with my jeans. I just get them to a seamstress. Easy and quick fix. And once they're patched, they last forever.

As a size 7-7.5 depending, sounds like the sole situation works in my favor.

Maybe an extra set of Kilties and laces for "not in a rush" order? Also, is it possible to order extra Kilties in your boot's leather when you order?
    Thank you!

I wasted a lifetime not buying a pair of Nicks MTO and I went through dozens of kinds of shoes and boots during 12-18 hour days on your putting on bands shows and tours, Im happy to wait 6 months for my own boots to come and im more than happy the people putting out the fires can get a jump ahead, Id never do what they do for a living staring into the fiery abyss, so all power to them ! and every day I wait the more excited I am for the boots and the more im learning about all the amazing skilled hard work that goes into each part of each boot,

I see Grant's point about wanting new customers to get their boots quickly, but it's a bad look if they're moved ahead of repeat customers. Part of the Nicks experience is patience and fairness in the process. And there's always RTS & quickship options to get you started.

I have five pairs of nicks in waiting six months it’s OK because sometimes you may want to change the leather or the soles and it gives you time to think about it. I changed one of my boots from smooth over rough out to All
rough out because I had time to think about it.
