Guys, pinning this update comment: In current Global version of the game Fishing Sacks do not contain Archboss fragments - looks like they are removed by AGS for our version of the game for now. I will update this comment when Archboss fragments re-appear and can be obtained from Fishing again!
@@Flasheur normal bait you can buy a box of 50 every day from Contract Coin Vendor, Worm bait seems to be dropping a lot from logging trees around the world and any fish that you can't use in desired recipes can be Dissolved for more "Fish Fillet Bait"
You can destroy SOME fish for bait BUT as far as i have seen you dont get sacks from anything other than paste bait. You can get shrimp and things from crabs which you can use as baits.
@@Keiji_Kun to get the fish, you need to "pull" in the opposite direction from where the fish is trying to go. If the fish is moving left, you gotta be pressing D on keyboard to pull right. Pretty sure if you are pulling in the right direction it will glow green, otherwise red.
@@Keiji_Kun clarification to my comment from last night, red indicates that fish is strong and will soon snap the line, so you have to be extra precise with pulling into right direction. If you see Red too often and fish escapes all the time, try fishing in a lower level area and come back when you increase your fishing level or get a better rod
do you know how you get more bait than the 50 you get daily from the contract merchant? I heard someone say something about being able to use fish or something but I cant find any info about it
@@JoshuaReid-ng8be yeah when you catch fish, right click the fish in your inventory and find a little Dissolve button. When you dissolve fish, it converts it into bait + other stuff for better quality fish
You can buy upto 200 a month(I think it is) (each one like the contract coin 1 a day paste bait) from the store not using lucent but that other in store currency you get from book pages ornate coin.
Fishing is the only way you can get jade in global release and it is a swine to grind.. the large sacks have 1 guranteed jade but you only get 1 large sack per 50 paste bait I have found. Using the fish after destroying them as bait grants you no sacks as far as i have experienced which is probably why the word guaranteed features on the paste bought through contract coins (not sure though)(1 a day gives 50 paste bait - you can also buy bait through the store and it has the same sack drops). You will get about 3 to 5 small sacks and 1 large with 50 paste bait. The jade drop in the small sack is random and I have found I MIGHT AT BEST get 1 every 50 paste bait I use, and from a small sack (if im lucky). Taking this into account and saying you fish 50 paste bait a day it will take you about 7 days (also getting 3 jade from three of the small sacks) to get 10 jade enough to craft the green fishing rod. (As long as you land the fish/sacks of course). Missing a fish loses 1 bait, so the more fish you fail to land the less sacks you will get. I have heard that the better the rod the MORE % likely for sacks it is. I am currently on my green rod as of today but I havent used it enough to confirm or deny this 'rumour'.

Definitely a little disappointed in the fishing because it could have had a bit more to make it even better like for example a few more fishing rods all with different stats and traits like “Treasure Chance” or “Rarer fish chance” which would be amazing to see! Another example for the rods would be 2 epic rods one with bonus levels and fishing speed and the other rod would have better rare fish chance and treasure chance like small sacks. Another thing that would be awesome is if Rain made better fish appear in certain areas or the ability to fish up a unique Elite enemy that has a bunch of unique drops

in the sundries crafter i only have 2 fishing rods i can get how do you have the other ones?

@@ArahantZuny this was filmed on Korea, but even in Global you can get platinum rod from Mystic Portals if you are lucky

Line snaps every single time regardless of I keep the bar green.
Try going to lower level areas, like Blackhowl Plains - you might be trying to fish in End Game waters where you need higher fishing level
