I'd recommend Beckett's play "Waiting for Godot" if you haven't read it already. He originally wrote it in French then translated it into English himself soon after. It's very open-ended and leaves room for a lot of great religious/philosophical speculation - a unique little curiosity, unlike anything else, really.
Thank you for reminding me about Marlon and Jake Read Dead People! I had caught up on the podcast when they took a break for Marlon to do a press tour/write and now there’s a whole new season’s worth of episodes for me to listen to. Happy reading!
one of the best ways to get into gnostic christianity, to me, is to start with VALIS by philip k dick - really great intro to main/basic ideas and it's a fantastic novel too
I liked _Kokoro_ very much (which I read in a Penguin). Beckett wrote novels, and they are all fantastic great classics - at least that’s what I’ve been told (I haven’t read any). Good haul!

"Didn't even wanna read one sentence, but now I did and here we are, wasting all our time" 😂 - Nate (aka The Truth)
Midnight's Children for a buck! Well done, my friend, well done.
For Japanese literature I can definitely recommend Junchiro Tanizaki and Yukio Mishima.
