The exact same thing happened to me. Since I have been a lifelong Oasis fan and also an anime nerd, I was dumbstruck when I heard Falling Down as the intro to Eden of the East!

I’m glad it has such a unique feeling to it as this was oasis’s there last ever single, gives me that same unique feeling I had for supersonic but just for different reasons

I remember when I first heard this, it was from an anime i watched, usually i would skip the openings but this song was so good that i started singing along instead of skipping it. THANK GOD FOR HIGASHI NO EDEN OR I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND THIS SONG IN THE FIRST PLACE!

criminally underrated song
When I heard this song the first time, I somehow knew it was all coming to an end. I was a fan of Oasis for 14 years, and I felt like a long time relationship had ended. This band always backed me up in good times as in bad times. Now all that´s left are the memories of this era and a bitter-sweet taste in my mouth.

I never realized this was also the opening to Eden of the East. I just started watching it yesterday and when I heard this song as the opening , the anime instantly won cool points in my book.

You should be happy that it brought them here, because it gave them a chance to find out about Oasis when they may have not if they hadn't watched the anime. Try Durarara. First thing that came to mind when I started watching this anime was Eden of the East. The anime has alot of elements like Eden... "the descriptvie" elements and it's enjoyable, so far there's like 6 episodes out of 13 or so :)

@Alkalar Indeed is a rare kind of band...a 90's band that stood well against the test of time. Between Wonderwall and this song I think they have earned their praise well.
