Have you finished part 1? Are you ready for part 2? Awesome... here you go: ruclips.net/video/blhBSLDjRS4/видео.html You’ll be surprised by how easy it is to make the trees we painted in this video look truly 3D !! 😀
I absolutely love your tutorials. They are so easy to follow but even better than that, I love your humour. Were you a teacher....you have the perfect voice and temperment for teaching. Please keep teaching us!!!!
Myriam’s, I enjoy your artwork. But more than that I love your attitude. I’m working on incorporating the same attitude when doing my own artwork. Eventually I want to expand that same attitude into my life as well. Thank you for your videos.
Thanks for the info on the liquid latex, Myriam! I was going to buy some and try it, so you just saved me $10 and a whole lot of frustration, so I’m PayPaling you that $ to fund future tips like this!! 😊 Now, back to watching the video!
Omgosh I am calling you Michael Angelo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way you did the Birch trees I am amazed how REAL they look!!!! It looks so real and the ink did it for you! How cool is that! I can not wait to Try it! TYTYTYTYTYTYTYTYTY!
Miriam thank you for this very informative lesson. I just love all your thoughts and comments. I love the"alien"foliage...I seem to have that occur often. You are a true blessing. Your sweet laughter is beautiful to hear. Thank you again for sharing your amazing talents.
I love your attitude. You crack me up and I enjoy your artwork. I used blue painters tape n tree forms. When I alcohol inked some colors ran under. It turned out really pretty. Those happy accidents. 😎
Such great videos! Glad to know that you can use masking in ink work, I would never have thought of that. I've tried a masking pen but it never worked for me. I may try the one you have linked eventually. I've used a brush and also an embossing tool. The embossing tool is easy to clean! You are a great teacher and videographer!
Love your birches! TY for all the supplies in the list, and could you please add the 99% and 91% alcohol? Also I love that you add the commentary after you have sped up the film, great combination of you being able to pay attention to the art while you’re working, and to pay attention to the listeners after you know how it has turned out, and teach us the most. 🙏☺️
I didn’t realize that you’re supposed to dilute these alcohol inks! LOL I was trying to do an aurora borealis, but it got so dark that the inks were no longer transparent. It wasn’t spreading so I kept adding more ink and more alcohol and that just made it worse. There is a definite learning curve with this! I noticed that the ink would push all of the color to the edges, so I’m going to use that failure as a palette for my next trial. I are appreciate your videos after giving this a try!
@@MyriamsNature Thanks! You actually gave me an idea to use the masking fluid with something I've been trying to get to work with polymer clay and ColorFuze enamels. I'll use it with ink as well but on polymer clay. I've learned so much from you that works across mediums! Thank you! 😘
LOLLLLL @ “Alien Foliage”! 😂😂😂 You make me laugh so much! And I’ve said this before but can’t help say it again - your laugh is so hearty and contagious, I love it! 💕💕💕☺️ Thank you so much for your absolutely creative and laughter-inducing videos 💕☺️🙏 And now onto part 2. ☺️
Thank you so so much Sphoorti. I’m happy you get some chuckles out of the videos, and I truly appreciate your taking time to always be so kind. Happy holidays to you and yours! 😊😘💕
I 💕 your personality! I’m not normally one to comment but when I do I tend to have a question, so here’s my question 😂 anytime I have tried alcohol ink, I end up with lots of sticky areas. What am I doing wrong? OH.. AND, the black graphite paper I purchased transfers anywhere it’s touched. (Many ruined projects) I will have to try the Arteza
This is great! Love how the trees turned out! I’m a big fan of masking, it’s amazing how you can get the effects you want with it. Before you taught us about the ruling pen, I used an old paintbrush with some soap on the bristles so the fluid won’t stick to the brush when dry. I like the pen much better, it’s more accurate. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s video. I’m crazy for Burch trees! So much character in them. You made me laugh so hard when you were going along with the instructions! I just love this time spent with your videos. They are fun, instructive and brighten my day!
I love your work, u r incredible!!! My question is, would it be easier to mask the trees and THEN do the background after which all u would have to do is remove the mask?
Myriam, thank you so much for your amazing videos, I just looove your tutorials. Can you help me with masking fluid please. The thing is, after I took it off it 'ate' all the color underneath which I was hoping to preserve. Is there any trick, may be there is any specific brand that you recommend, what I did wrong? Thank you in advance! :)
It’s looking good, can’t wait to see the finished price. I bought a Set of 3 “ruling pens” and my friend also had one and for the life of us we couldn’t get them to work, they would work for a few seconds then just blob. ! Found them so frustrating, we were using them to add gold drawing ink to an AI Piece but gave up and used a nib pen..... I was so annoyed I couldn’t get them to work, especially because when I bought them they were from a link that someone posted, supposed to be in a bag, high quality and I bought them from England, when they arrived they were so cheap and nasty, the metal is so rough , it’s what I would have expected to receive had I bought them from China which I saw at the same time. But I purchased the more expensive ones thinking they were better quality....what a rip off it was! Should have just bought the ones from China, as I am certain it was someone who was just on selling the Chinese ones .....if it hadn’t been so far away I would have sent them back ! I would love to be able to find a way to use my dud ruling pens ! Thanks for the link Myriam ! Hope you have been well, I haven’t been watching your resin videos, because I can’t use resin .😢 💙💙😘😘
I have a question, it's for an older video but you will probably never see it if i asked over there. For the master air compressor, does it work with acrylics, sorry but that video was the only one i fond over the internet
Hi Myriam! Love your work! Still have not tried alcohol inks yet, but I am wondering, what ratio of ink to alcohol do you use when you mix in those little plastic containers? Thank you!
Tried this technique with "incredible white mask liquid frisket"" , and "pebeo drawing gum". Both of these took the background color off. What an I doing wrong?
Too funny - one pack of copy paper, aka carbon paper, “will last you the rest of your life”. SO TRUE! I have a box from probably 30 or 35 years ago! 😂 I thought my kids will someday find it in my belongings, and they’ll want to ask the antique road show what it is, and what it’s worth! 😝
Pebeo drawing gum doesn't work either. Winsor newton masking fluid made a mess. Nah... don't think I'll do it this way. I better stick to my water colors for this

Thank you for explaining about the latex vs masking fluid, truly appreciate it! Wad or is it WOD power, 😂 can’t wait to try this out
Hi Myriam can you tell me what ratio of alcohol ink to isopropyl you use?
Oh my gosh. You make me laugh 😄
i just started with the ink and oh my yes tried and tried and tried and finally just wiped it all off and hmm i will try again in the morning lol
Hi Myriam! Love your work! Still have not tried alcohol inks yet, but I am wondering, what ratio of ink to alcohol do you use when you mix in those little plastic containers? Thank you!
