Snowboarding Hakuba Japan in perfect powder

- Some days you need to escape the noise of the cities grab your snowboard and go be in the mountains. This trip offered up just that. No crowds, good vibes and so much amazing powder snow. Some day's the snow was so deep that even on a Jones Stormchaser I was getting buried. There were avalanche warnings everywhere and as such it was near impossible to get into steeper terrain. But man it was a hell of a trip and definitely one for the record books.
If you are planning a Ski holdiay to Hakuba Japan I really recommend hitting up one of the following lodges for that killer place to stay in the valley
Mark has a couple of lodges down at the north end of the valley, perfect for powder hounds. sunnsnowjapan....
Also Martin has a great lodge right in Ecoland if you are looking to be more in the mix after the sun goes down. umitoyamahakub...
Remember to have fun, embrace the relaxed attitude of Japan, leave your agro and politics at home and share the joy.

Im going to Hakuba this year for the first time after being in Niseko last year, going to stay in Tsugaike.
What time of the year is the video?
Im going to be there from the 2nd to 12th of February, can I expect some powder days?
Its a killer zone, plenty of tree runs, there is a short course if you want the main tree zone…will be there in Jan too
