7:55 This is the perfect clip to show elderly relatives when they ask, "so what is this ski-boarding thing you get so excited about each winter?" No need for insanely sheer inclines, technical lines, or olympic level flippy-dippy jumps that will only make your grandmother fear for your life every time you mention where you're going. Just a long, unedited, pure beautiful powder run set in front of spectacular mountains, backed by the perfect choice of music. Bravo!
Few decades later some kids will invent new invention. And you gonna wonder about what's so cool about that and they gonna tell you: Shut up, elder, you know nothing!
It has been a life long dream of mine to go to Japan not just because of its world class snowboarding I’ve just always been so interested in the Asian culture thanks for this really awesome video.
Holy sheesh....this channel is seriously blowin' up with all these trips...Hopefully you guys are realizing how much this is helping the rest of us out who don't get to the mountain as much. I don't get to snowboard much, other than a few times a year, (Calgary Canada - Lake Louise, and Calgary Olympic Park-COP), so seeing this vicariously with you guys all across the States, and Whistler, Europe and now Japan is truly INCREDIBLE. Please keep it up, and thanks for the inspiration to get out there no matter what it takes!
My girlfriend and I were in japan around the same time this year. We went snowboarding on a different mountain but really enjoyed the snow and went through heaps of trees and so much powder. Watching this video took me back to the experience but you guys are way more EXTREME! Keep up the great content!
I think I have watched this video a hundred times. Analyzed everything and finaly yesterday my buddy and I did the same hike up to happone and did that same lap of you guys @snowboardprocamp. So thank you for the inspiration
If you get the chance I recommend hitting up Madarao and Myoko-Suginohara while you're nearby. Looking at the snow forecast, your best chance of getting that true Japow experience will be Thursday/Friday. Make sure you get up early for those first tracks, and may the snow gods smile upon you.
Should've been there last week - I had pow up to my chest. If you go from the top of the gondola, stick to the right of the slope and there will be a nice powdery and less tight alpine run on your right... Hope that helps
Niseko slackcountry next time lads epic trees where only the adventurous access there's just a lot of terrain and back country to explore!! That bowl ridge was awesome looks like a heap of fun!!
Yeh mate, I miss Hakuba. That place is made for snowboarders. I'm in Akakura Onsen and all I see is ropes, no access allowed, buried lifts, and whoever designed the runs must have been smoking crack. I gotta get back to Hakuba, enjoy your stay!
Love watching your videos. And love the fact you guys are in Japan, my home country! Have a great time there! Don't worry, I'll come with you next time and tell you which tea is sweet and which is not.
Riding close terrain is a good way to give a good impression of the foreigners to Japanese people! And riding huge avalanche terrain without safety is really stupid! Knowing the place I was cringing during the all video!

What an epic run. Like you say, nothing crazy, just floating down a mountain on a blanket of powder.

Feels like skiing on flour power, the snow quality is just incredible!

This must feel so unreal. The dream!
orange board looks beautiful
Glad you could make a video in my country :)
Snowboarding on snow.
Greetings from NYC
I cannot wait to go snowboarding with my dad once I go back to Montana. I'm totally stoked.
Super video guys. I am now living vicariously through you guys in lockdown. Looked great.
Kevin that board you are currently riding looks effortless to turn in powder, as usual great video.
Looks fantastic. Love that pow filled ravine.

行ったことあるだけで親近感めっちゃ湧く
Awesome!! I am counting down to ski at Hakuba again. Love Happo, Tsugaike, Cortina, Iwatake, and Goryu!!

One of my favourite videos
That powder from 08:00 mark looked SO good and soft.
The best powders in Hokkaido. I know Hakuba area has more high alpine but as far as snow quality and amount goes, there’s no beating Hokkaido.
tears of joy right now
Planning a trip there this video definitely gets me stoked
Top of the mountain view is stunning.
Its so satisfying when they went down the hill the first time
6:42 looks like a green screen... so beautiful.
7:41 cool pow run
Sick video, the Japan powder looked awesome. 🇯🇵
Heading there this weekend ;) Can't wait!!!
The best Pow on earth! Boarded there 2X!
That board looks sooooo fun to ride!
Perfect Conditions
Excellent choice of music in this clip, nice one.
Should've been there last week - I had pow up to my chest. If you go from the top of the gondola, stick to the right of the slope and there will be a nice powdery and less tight alpine run on your right... Hope that helps
Awesome video guys. Looks like you are enjoying yourselves. Stay safe and shred the POWPOW!!
Niseko slackcountry next time lads epic trees where only the adventurous access there's just a lot of terrain and back country to explore!! That bowl ridge was awesome looks like a heap of fun!!
I’ll be in Niseko in two days this inspires the soul!!! Good work lads
TJ is a slasher over and over again, Kevs got more surfy style
I try to spend as much time in the white room as possible :)
awesome! would love to see you guys ski some other of the Hakuba resorts and review the terrain
Yooooooooooooooo! Those seat covers in the taxi, are Doooope!
I saw you guys in Whistler when you guys back from Europe. That is the Icy day. Hope you like the powder in Japan. I love it much.
So sick! I’m jealous.
Amazing footage!
・Drinks- Japanese/Chinese tea (Unsweetened)
The tea you normally imagine(Sweetened or Unsweetened) → 「無糖」Unsweetened
・Food- Pre-packaged curry!
My god that looked amazing
Hey Kevin, which place did you enjoy the most? Happo one or niseko? Cheers
Very cool! Thanks, a lot of fun.🎉
That hole at 3:04 is why everyone should always ride with a partner. I saw that double take after you cleared that haha
ようこそ日本へ
Welcome to Japan!!
ルールを守らない外国人は来るな!
And this was pretty tame in terms of japanese powder, tbh! You guys should check out one of the resorts in Hokkaido next time
Oh Dude! I was just there at christmas!
DUMPED BIG TIME! SOOOOOOO good!
your best video yet guys...keep it up
Yeh mate, I miss Hakuba. That place is made for snowboarders. I'm in Akakura Onsen and all I see is ropes, no access allowed, buried lifts, and whoever designed the runs must have been smoking crack. I gotta get back to Hakuba, enjoy your stay!
Welcome to Japan! You guys certainly picked the best year to visit - amazing timing :)
I just bought my first own snowboard today!😁 I have rented all the time
I think I've just just found a birthday gift.. cheers guys!!
Just got back from Hakuba, it’s the best place every!
Cannot wait till I go to Hakuba in March too! seems so nice there
Love watching your videos. And love the fact you guys are in Japan, my home country! Have a great time there! Don't worry, I'll come with you next time and tell you which tea is sweet and which is not.
Loving the content lately
The clip from 2:13 was insane! love it
Have skied twice at Happe One (Happo On-knee) and can also recommend Goryu/Hakuba 47 and Tsuguieke.
those scenery is unreal!!! looks like you guys are standing in front of a green screen!its insane I must go visit
Definitely check out Cortina after you get some snow. Its about 45min-1hour ish from hakuba via bus or train but totally worth it!
Oooh cool! Welcome to Japan.
This is the only only place I’ve snowboarded. Lol I wanna go back so bad
tsugaike run under the main gondola is the most epic powder ever
did u guys bring the beacon and avalanche bag? are those required for the side country of Happo one?
Absolutely epic. That would be the dream...one day!
Hakuba Cortina and 47/Goryu would be my options for pow hunting. A lot more tree areas open than Happo.
YOU GUYS HAVE TO TRY TSUGAIKE DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND SECTION!!!!!!!!! ITS THE BEST POWDER EVARRRR
Absolutely - I've had some of the best runs of my life there. Literally chest deep in fluffy powder!
Yeah dude Best day of my life!
Which gate did you guys do DBD deep pow? It has been so warm past couple of days 😑
dude i did 4 and 5, that was near the end of the school holidays, on one of the sunny days after alot of snow
AGREED. I DID IT LAST WEEK!!
Epic video! Keep up the great stuff. Peace and love
Great background music
ive read about the Japanese off-piste restrictions , would love to hear what you guys think
This is my dream right here, I might get chance soon to go to Japan and snowboard
Riding close terrain is a good way to give a good impression of the foreigners to Japanese people! And riding huge avalanche terrain without safety is really stupid! Knowing the place I was cringing during the all video!
You should hit up hakkoda just south of Aomori city, insane powder, awesome forest runs, and no resort with one gondola trip to the top
This is awesome keep up the good work!!!
I 'll go to ride in something like 2weeks and your video just makes me want to be already there and taste the powder.
such an epic video and powder
Ha-ku-ba :). (even emphasis on each syllable). Great vid guys! I lived there and go back most years. Love it! Cortina is my favourite
Damn. Just broke my wrist on a green. Keep the vids coming to help me through rehab
Sick vid! This video was so hype. Love it!
good powder, thanks for sharing guys.
ive been to hakuba a long long time a go and miss it dearly, i hope to one day be able to go there again.
Looks great 👍 I would love to get some powder like this!
