- In this talk by famous actor and host Hamza Ali Abbasi, he urges the youth to drop the idea of maintaining neutrality and choose a side, whether in agreement or disagreement, whether in comfort or discomfort, whether in politics or even real life. Hamza Ali Abbasi is a renowned Pakistani actor, model, director, film-maker and now tv host. He is working in Pakistan entertainment industry for last around 9 years but the drama serial Pyaray Afzal, Movie Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and Waar gave HIM boost in Pakistan showbiz industry
Hamza Ali Abbasi studied film making in the United States and then he came back to Pakistan to practice his theatrical career in Pakistan. Hamza started his theatrical career in 2006 as a Theatre actor and appeared in many small plays in start such as Bombay Dreams, Phantom of the Opera and Home is Where Your Clothes Are. Apart from his acting in theater play, he also appeared in many television commercials such as Jazz, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Candy Biscuits.
Hamza Ali Abbasi loves concerning motorbikes. However, he sells of his award-winning personal bike in order to gather financial support for his debut movie venture “Mudhouse and the Golden Doll.” He is really very passionate to do something special for Pakistan entertainment industry. Hamza is mostly interested in Iranian movies and history and loves to watch the History Channel in his free time. Its TEDx. The whole world sees it. How are they going to make sense out of it? I want to emphasize that I have no disrespect for Urdu but when you are talking to a large audience using a channel which is viewed all around the world, you should talk in language that they understand too.

Society in our country (or anywhere) often labels people who support politics or have an opinion as ‘parhai likhay jahil’ or ‘sasta Vakeel.’
I love how Hamza is turning the table around and telling us how it’s good to have an opinion because whether it’s right or wrong it will get us somewhere, rather than being stuck in the same spot because we refuse to take part or associate ourselves.

Islam encourages us again again to think around and see what had happened in the past, what is happening now and what would be the outcomes of that actions in future. I totally agree that everyone especially the Youth must participate and debate on Politics. It is the only way of engaging in constructive ideas which will benefit the nation. Asking questions, disagreeing, reasoning and making a choice no matter even if it isn’t right will commence a dialogue. Soon a lame being will gradually become active enough to make the Right choice.

Yes, politics is an art, it can let you know what's going on around you and how you can save yourself from all those tactics which your enemy is using to hinder your prosperity.
A very good talk indeed! Neutrality is never a good thing be it in Politics or in any other field or profession. Neutrality doesn’t help, it’s selfish , it’s injust ,it’s non constructive , it is carelessness and promotes non sensitiveness. Islam teaches us to be involved in our communities and fix what is wrong , suggest and work hard to make things better. Allah says in the Noble Quran :
“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. “ “ (3:110)
Also Prophet (SAWAs) said that if one of you sees injustice/wrong let him fix it with his hand and if he couldn’t then with his mouth and the hadith goes on ....
so basically what the Prophet peace be upon Him is saying is that we have to raise our voices and take part and be helpful andto not just sit back and be quiet and insensitive. We are the ummah that cares and wants justice and peace for all that is why we should take charge and invite one another to what is good and stop one another from committing oppression and injustice .

Not well organised speech. He got good thoughts and what made me hurt in his speech was differentiating. Starting with the class and ended with Middle East. Well, it’s a very owner platform that U have been chosen to speak in order to educate to remove the compatibility in class and put every one in the same thoughts that class is not differentiating us what differentiate us is education. I didn’t understand well the Urdu language but I got what he meant to say about politics and encouraging youth involvements in politics which was pretty good point.
