Please consider bottled water for cooking. Take care buddy, wishing you all the best there in the province.
Wow, great saving! Excellent budget for family of 8, no one can beat that price anywhere. Now you and Lot can afford to do more island hopping travel. Enjoy! Good job.
Not a bad breakdown of your cost. The things here in the Philippines keep going up in price. My wife and I budget 100,000 pesos a month. Not including our health insurance or any vacations. Sometimes we can do it and sometimes we need a little extra. We live in Lipa Batangas area.

Good to be back into your channel Brian. I've always been curious about who you retired from. You are pretty young. At 59, I too am retired now. I can't leave the States though, too attached to my family. Good fortune to you, Sir!
I grew up in a rowhouse in South Philly with 8 people in it, my parents, myself and 4 siblings, and my Mom’s Aunt. I can probably live in the house you’re living in, Brian, without a doubt! At my age these days, I prefer to live a little more comfortably, but I certainly could do it!
Thats about what we pay in electric and we have about the same but we do have a washing machine. we have a water dispenser we use with the jugs. The water is pumped in from a well in the school yard. The good thing its a private source and not part of the public water pumps. when the public source had problems they came to us as ours was unaffected. It depends on lifestyle and preparation before you move.
Good day brian, thank you for that breakdown. I now know exactly what it is I am going to be doing when I get back to the Philippines. Take care out there.
Philly, I agree just give money. Don’t lend money. Definitely saving money living in the province. So, 18 people living on the estate? Should claim them on your taxes next year. Anyway Philly thanks for keeping us updated and stay safe. 😎
The Filipino loan. I've known about this for 30+ years. THEY like to say it's a loan but WE know there is never an expectation of paying back. Which is perfectly fine if you understand Filipino culture. Try explaining that to a white who has never been to the Philippines or been with Filipino family. A lot of guys on here don't get certain things, but if they gonna be with a Filipina YOU BETTER LEARN.😊

As for the electricity, electric fan, security camera's, electric fence, large refrigerator & electric induction cook top, microwave, all lights are LED, P1800. And of course I have to have foods that I like to eat. Rent is P0. Yearly property tax is about P10,500. Wifes or sister in-laws cooking is free. Gasoline for my 8 passenger Tuk-tuk is about P1800 p/m. Chicken & duck feed, P2880. Unreliable fibre internet with PLDT, P1880. Groceries are about the same as your spending. High for the Philippines right where the American dollar stretches twice as far but there's eight people living there so I assume this is the bill for the entire house?
@@markeverson5849He said that😊
@@markeverson5849I wonder who the grocery’s before Brian and Lot lived there?
Big Love too you Brian💪🏽like too follow your channel😎 I’m here in Manila
But I will move to province about 4 months the life is better there 👌🏽❤️I’m 40 years old and stay with my wife we go to living in Samar
Stay strong 💪🏽
But you didn't say how big the propane tank was? a 100 lb tank? a 30 pounder? Thank you
Usually a 11 kg. Here in central Pangasinan, a refill costs 899 pesos! Nearly half of what Bryan is paying!?
With 58 pesos is $1.72 as shown, so your only getting 34 pesos for $1 there.
That's Crazy That's about the same exchange in Thailand of Baht for $1
I'm glad your saving so much on other expenses like Electric & rent by with
a 41% reduction of your exchange rate buying power there.
Maybe a mistype? 58 peso to 1.00US
Best of luck to you B in the country and away from the big city. TR don't have to worry about your morning eggs any longer. Lol
So your family help you from the US if you need any issues or if you need money, are they helping you?
I have been supporting myself since the age of 18.
Glad yawl doing good.
